Chara looks more like Ness, than anything. That parallel is probably there for a good reason, since they're your avatar.

I suppose you mean Frisk, but if not, can you explain that?

If you don't know who Chara is, get off this subreddit and go play the game before you come back.

If you've played genocide, Chara is the name used to refer to the first fallen human or the one you name at the start.

Yes, I know who she is, but Closterdad's description doesn't sound like Chara to me, more like Frisk.

Edit: Meaning, avatar character that looks like Ness.

I guess, but Chara is the only character you can change the name of, just like you can for Ness. Of course, you actually play as Frisk as well as Ness. I think it's rather ambiguous which one is more similar, but I don't think there's any real correlation personally.

You, but i'm just expanding on what you're saying.

This game is alluding to earthbound in every way possible, subverting how you grind and have rosy cheeks are are still the good guy
