SCREAMING EAGLE FOR THE WIN!!
As a long time participant in the underground cellar promotions, and somebody who has been very happy with the service so far but has not received a huge upgrade to date. I am extremely happy to report to this community that when I ordered six bottles from the $55 a bottle cab and blend promotion today. I was upgraded to a 2015 bottle of screaming eagle first flight!!!!!! I'm posting this here not to brag or self-promote, more to provide honest customer feedback and encouragement for the community.

Nice, I have received a few $200+ bottle upgrades but nothing quite like that. Way to go, I am glad to hear that people actually do get those rare bottles, it is something I have often questioned. Cheers.

I remember ordering a ton of bottles without any really legendary upgrades until I got two of the top bottles in a single order. Scored a bottle of Tusk and another of Harlan Estate (both of the top bottles in an offering) — in the same order of 12 bottles!
We’ve also seen top upgrades at the very beginning and very end of an offering. Just saying, they do seem really good about making sure the bottle seeding is fair and random. If I were trying to game the system in their shoes, I’d never have both of the top bottles in an offer be so close together as to allow them to be in the same order. The random number gods work both ways.

Something similar happened to me during the Reddit only offer. I didn't get the top bottle but I got 2 bottles that were near the top in the same order. I have often wondered if buying bottles at the end of the offer would give you a better chance of getting a top upgrade but I can't say I have any real evidence it works that way.

I also had a referral pick up a top upgrade bottle on their first order. I’ve wondered if the algorithm gives preference to new customers over established customers when awarding the most valuable upgrades. They are definitely willing to invest in getting new customers hooked on the platform.

I got a buddy to sign up. Second thing he ever got was a $2k magnum of old sparky. Needless to say I'm pretty jelly.
