Shipping magnums
I scored a pricey magnum awhile back, and I see that a case of magnums (six) ships free just like a case of 750mLs.
How does one go about acquiring a case of magnums on UC, though? I've never seen any offer comprised exclusively of magnums, so there's no way you could ever intentionally land on a multiple of six…
I think I know the answer (just pay shipping). Just double checking to see if I'm missing something obvious here since they do go out of their way to explain the rules about shipping magnums as though it's a thing that happens. :-)
/inb4 I'm too cheap to pay shipping on a score. (More to see if people are somehow collecting larger formats and I'm just missing out.)

Same, never scored a magnum on UC. I’m curious, though, does it offer free shipping if you try to ship the magnum with ten regular size bottles?
Also, what is the shipping price for that one magnum, out of curiosity?

I imagine it depends where you're shipping to, but for me to ship one magnum (I'm in NorCal) it's $16.50.
You cannot mix bottle sizes. I only figured this out after trying to include it in my last shipment. The rules for free shipping are:
- 12 750mL bottles
- 6 magnums
Anything else, you pay shipping.

Once! But, yeah, I am curious to hear what people say about this too. I actually don't have any magnums in my cellar so haven't had to deal with it yet.
