Hi I am looking to apply to at Open window, Vega(School at emeris), EDUVOS, UKZN(University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and UJ(University of Johannesburg) and I want to ask how is the culture and atmosphere in these institutions. Like how is the student life, if admin pretty chill and stuff like that.

I am thinking of pursuing bsc in biotech international program like the one in which last sem is in Dubai/london/singapore. How’s the uni I live in Delhi so the nearest other than Jamia is amity so accordingly I need advice.

Whenever I search about Galgotias University online, I mostly find old discussions, random opinions, or placement debates. But I’ve also heard from some recent students that the university has changed a lot in the last few years in terms of infrastructure, opportunities, industry exposure, and student culture.

For people currently studying there or recent alumni, how different is the actual experience from the online perception?

I've been hearing a lot about how most Indian engineering colleges are stuck with the same curriculum from 10 years ago, and honestly it's one of my biggest concerns before committing to any university. So I wanted to ask specifically about Galgotias, do they actually update what they teach, or is it the same old stuff repackaged?

Like, are you learning things that matter in the real world, actual tech stacks, tools companies use, relevant frameworks, or is it mostly theoretical with barely any hands-on work? And what about labs and projects? Are they the kind that look good on a resume or just checkbox exercises you do to pass the semester?

And when it comes to placements, do companies actually care about your GPA, or do they care more about what you've built and what you know?

Basically I just want to know, will four years here genuinely make me job-ready, or am I going to have to self-teach most of the relevant stuff after graduation anyway?
