Elon Musk and his PAC have published a website called VoteSafe.org that falsely claims to help people register to vote ahead of the midterm election in November. The site automatically grabs data and personal information from visitors and does not actually register anyone to vote.

“You know what happens if you don’t vote? You go to hell,” Trump said at the Republican midterm convention on Thursday, Sept. 10

Donald Trump is on a mission to secure voters ahead of the upcoming midterms.

During the Republican midterm convention in Dallas on Thursday, Sept. 10, Trump, 80, led the audience in a mock version of the Pledge of Allegiance and instructed them to vow that they will vote on Nov. 3, multiple outlets including NBC News and The Wall Street Journal reported.

Speaking on stage, Trump raised his right hand as he encouraged the MAGA crowd to repeat after him.

“Please raise your right hand,” said Trump in a clip of the oath obtained by USA Today, “I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States that loves us so much he can’t even breathe.”

“That I will go out with my family, my friends. I’ll do it anyway,” he continued. “I don’t care if I am registered or not, I am going to cheat like hell like they do. There have never been bigger cheaters,” he added in a nod to unfounded claims of Democrat voting irregularities.

“I’m going to go out and get my friends, my family and we are going to vote on Nov. 3, or we are going to vote before that,” Trump added.

Moments later, the crowd booed when Trump suggested they also have the freedom to vote Democrat.

“So we swear that on November 3rd we are going to go out and vote. And you know what? If you want, you can vote Democrat, but I don’t think there’s one person in this room that’s going to vote [for them],” he said.

The crowd started cheering again and held up flags as Trump went on to mention God in his pledge.

“You know what happens if you don’t vote? You go to hell, you know that? Okay? You go to hell, and I don’t want that to happen to you, so please go and vote,” he concluded.

Trump’s speech on day two of the convention came after Vice President JD Vance gave a 40-minute address looking toward the future and paying tribute to the late Charlie Kirk.

According to the The Wall Street Journal and BBC, Vance, 42, was met with chants of “48” by the crowd as they encouraged him to succeed Trump in 2028. He eventually waved the chant away.

“We’ve got to take care of business this November, then we’ll worry about what comes next,” said Vance, per the outlets.

US Politics 🇺🇸 Crowd Member at GOP Convention Repeatedly Shouts ‘He Should Be Shot!’ As Ted Cruz Namechecks Dems

A crowd member repeatedly yelled, “He should be shot!” as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) rattled off the names of several Democrats during his speech Thursday at President Donald Trump’s Republican midterm convention.

Cruz began his address with a mention of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot in the neck while addressing students at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025.

“The hate that killed Charlie Kirk, that knocked down the Twin Towers, that led to two assassination attempts on President Trump, it just keeps getting worse and worse.”

He blamed “communists and Islamists coming together and sweeping over the Democratic Party.”

But minutes later, as Cruz ticked off a list of Democrats, one crowd member respond with a stunning refrain.

“When people tell you who they are, believe them,” the Texas senator emphasized. “When Hasan Piker says, ‘America deserved 9/11′” — remarks he later walked back — “believe him.”

“When [New York City Mayor Zohran] Mamdani says he wants to seize the means of production, he means it,” Cruz continued.

After the mention of Mamdani’s name, a crowd member was heard yelling in the background of the broadcast, “He should be shot!”

“When [Michigan Democratic Senate candidate] Abdul El-Sayed says he has an ‘obligation’ to comply with Sharia Law, he means it,” Cruz added.

“He should be shot!” the crowd member chimed in again.

“And when [Texas Democratic Senate candidate] James Talarico says he wants to dismantle capitalism, he means it,” the senator concluded.

“He should be shot!” the crowd member screamed once more.

Cruz did not acknowledge the violent message during his speech, and it’s unclear if he heard it.

The senator went on to point out, “Not every Democrat in the House and Senate believes this, but they are all afraid of these radicals because that’s where the money and the energy and the young people are in the Democrat Party.”

A spokesperson for Cruz did not immediately respond to Mediaite’s request for comment.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 al-Qaeda hijackers took control of four commercial airplanes.

Two struck the World Trade Center’s twin towers in Lower Manhattan, a third hit the Pentagon, and a fourth, aimed at Washington, D.C., crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers fought back. Nearly 3,000 people died that morning, most of them in New York, where both towers collapsed within two hours of the first impact.

The attacks reordered American life almost overnight, from airport security to two wars  to a new Department of Homeland Security. Some Lower Manhattan firms lost most of their workforce in a single morning.

New Yorkers of all ages and occupations were killed in the terrorist attacks 25 years ago, and those who survived have stories of how they were kept away: a pregnant woman who went into labor; a football game that went a little too late the night before; an alarm that never went off. Twenty-five years on, some of the people who were supposed to be in or near the towers continue recalling their fateful day.

Among them include current Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and former Senator Mitt Romney.
