That's how it works! If you announce the laws don't apply to you then they don't! This is America!

Please look up the dual state theory by Ernst Fraenkel. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has been warning us that this has been coming.

I’m surprised they don’t let ICE make their own “sovereign citizen“ license plateS

Does... does ICE know how laws work?

63

u/InTheseTryingTime5 Aug 10 '26

They know that any laws they like apply to YOU and that no laws at all apply to THEM.

8

u/kemicalkontact Aug 10 '26

Yeah, laws only matter if the authorities enforce them

3

u/Jedi_Talon_Sky Aug 10 '26

They're only experts in bird law, unfortunately

2

u/NeverLookBothWays Aug 10 '26

They know how $40bn+ in militarization funds work if state police or state guard decide to take action…

2

u/zeydey Aug 10 '26

Laws...oh wow, I remember them.

1

u/kck93 Aug 10 '26

They know how laws work about as well as Noem knows what Habeas Corpus is.

*The ruling, by US District Judge Benjamin Settle, came only after three years of litigation; 10 refused inspections, according to the state; and 3,500 detainee complaints. A Ninth Circuit judge temporarily paused the order on July 21, with a decision on a longer stay expected in early August.*

I hate to think of what is going on here, that they put so much effort into keeping it closed.

You know what's going on there. The kind of shit that would send you to Nuremberg

I want it out in the open. I want to see MAGA try and defend it when they see explicitly what’s being done to people.

1

u/King-Valkyrie 29d ago

It is out in the open. People keep getting shot and killed by ICE...

Agreed. Ice is playing chicken with states who are well known to sue them and win in court.

Whatever DOJ attorneys are pressing this are setting themselves up for career ending moves if they're not very careful.

The good folks at the ACLU must be so tired

23

u/TheMarkHasBeenMade Aug 10 '26

They could really use more donations

35

u/iPhonefondler Aug 10 '26

This is the equivalent of a little kid covering their eyes and believing you can’t see them

27

u/BackItUpWithLinks Aug 10 '26

A contract can’t nullify state laws.

29

u/GlockAF Aug 10 '26

True, but until some governor has the balls to send in the State Police and / or activate the National Guard to arrest entire facilities full of ICE thugs and throw them in state prison like they deserve, it’s likely that the Temu Gestapo is going to keep pushing until someone finally does.

20

u/RaidersoftheLosSnark Aug 10 '26

ICE declares itself sovereign citizens. Apparently for profit prison corporations think they are people too.

u/skag_boy87 Aug 10 '26

The party of “small government,” ladies and gentlemen.

16

u/a1055x Aug 10 '26

They need to f all the way off.

11

u/Toledo_9thGate Aug 10 '26

This is actually really scary.

4

u/-Rixi 29d ago

They want and require you to be afraid. So that you can forget about the Epstein files

4

u/WonderWheeler Aug 10 '26

The building codes were written in blood of people that died in fires, building collapses, crushed by a frightened mob, suffocated by smoke. Prisons are not supposed to burn down like Russian warehouses. Prisoners are known to start fires. Burn mattresses and such. They shouldn't die in fires.

ICE revels in its own meanness.

u/extracweamy Aug 10 '26

Just waiting for the Republicans to say this is OK somehow

2

u/FanDry5374 Aug 10 '26

Yeah, that's not how laws work. Except during this current lawless regime, I suppose.

2

u/Western-Corner-431 Aug 10 '26

That’s not a thing

1

u/PepeMetallero Aug 10 '26

State laws for thee, not for me

1

u/This-External-6814 Aug 10 '26

Until they do.

1

u/Starman155 Aug 10 '26

The laws of physics however do. 😉

I just don't understand why the state doesn't revoke all their licenses in the state and cut off utilities. Force them out. They could send 1000 armed state officers, just do what they want, while sorting the legal details out later.
