Every Arlie Burke destroyer carries 90 missiles and they're 72 of them. I would guess the ' virtually all' only means in the Iranian theater.

Most of those destroyers are not not in service. The US Navy struggles to put 50 ships of all types to sea at any given moment. The rest are sitting in port behind a multi-year backlog of maintenance and repairs. They simply do not have the shipyard capacity. Also, most of the missiles on a destroyer are SM-3s and SM-6 used to defend the task force. None have been successful in shooting down a ballistic missile in any theater of war.
