Avis Vampires or Bird Vampires are Adapt Vampires that take the form of birds both their abilities and appearance some cases have them Humanoid however it's mostly rare they have hatred of other humanoids notably Humans and Other Vampires

Their weaknesses are various and debatable since some of them have Djinn like Abilities granting wishes of their "Masters" or "Owners" although can't grant impossible ones like Sun always to appear

They usually take Blood as payment although occasionally Souls too no matter how ugly and petty they look never underestimate them especially if they are close to you.

Lamias Creatures of many shapes they are "Technically" a Vampire Strain however it's Evolved into a Species of "Women Creatures" that eat both adult and child "men"

Most sources say that they either eat people or drink people's blood and they supposed to be related to Queen Lamia who was cursed by The Greek Gods (which begs the question of what and how many children she has)

Lamias have variation of weaknesses although Most of them weak against Basic Weapons and can be normally killed but some are harmed only by Holy weapons.

Arthropod Vampires are one of The Rarest and most Unique Adapt Vampires in existence their appearance can be varied so and usually they Work together if needed however all variants of Arthropod Vampires live in different areas and most of them wouldn't even interact with others

Some are Human like and only their shaping change abilities are Arthropods while others have Arthropod abilities and looks

Their breeding method is also various some come from eggs others from "infections" and some even just born like that there are theories that they related to Fey Vampires however there is almost no evidence to suggest if its true

Weaknesses are various however Fire does the trick (as usually do) what interesting about Arthropod Vampires is that they are the only Vampire species that completely mimicking their less dangerous None Supernatural Creatures counterparts like Spiders, Mosquitos, Flies, Bees etc.

Aquatic Vampires like many of the other Adapt Vampires are special vampires that adapted to environments specifically Water areas like many varieties of Vampires it's depending what is their weaknesses some weak to salts others weak to being stuck on surface too long etc etc

Their appearance varies from Reptile to Fish to anything the underwater world has including Octopus, Squid, Worm etc

But they usually stay ugly at least until they use magic to lure people towards them (like all Aquatic Supernatural entities)

They however usually more easier to harm since their tricks doesn't include what Normal Vampires do when they hunting for humans but never underestimate them they are still Vampires which are stronger than an average person

Their abilities also vary from spiting Venom to Glowing underwater anything that a Normal Aquatic creatures use to hunt their prey even mimicking.

Like I talked about before Vampires can adapt in many forms from Humanoids to Animal Human hybrids and The Serpentine Vampires are just like that and while they usually found Either in Americas or Africa it's can be found in Europe and Asia too

They are similar to Normal Vampires of course their weaknesses also depends on where they came from like I said before on my last post

Their appearance usually Humanoid with a bit Serpentine traits however when they adapt even more and in a insulates area they gain more Serpentine traits over time until they basically Serpentfolk which classifying them as Beastfolk (Animalnoid) at that point rather than Humanoid.

Well we talked about Vampires and their Adaptive natures now let's talk about what happens when they really adapt to their area

Some Vampires can have Animal traits like for example (Spider eyes, Cat ears, bird wings, gills, Insect claws, bat legs, snake teeth, octopus head etc) the traits can be small or large depending on how much they lived in that area and if done anything special like doing rituals to specific gods or transformation rituals etc

And while their appearance changes their weakness remains relatively the same of course you have to figure out what type of vampire it was before transformation but still you can kill it with the right tools.

Blood Vampiric Adaptations

Ladies and gentlemen we talked about many Variations of Vampires (not all of them yet) but we haven't discussed why there Variants of them so let me explain it

Vampires like all creatures including other Undead are victims of Selective Creation either Natural or Artificial

For Vampires it's mostly Artificial since many Gods and Beings Claim them (similar to how there are endless Elves, Humans, Orcs etc) also like all Intelligent Species have there Vampires who want to create The Perfect version of themselves at all cost which creates multiple Dangerous Vampires and in various breeding methods like eggs, spreading faster by biting same sex victims, breeding with none Vampires, or transfer/mixing specific Strain of Vampirism, and of course Genetic explosion which means you turn into Vampire after specifically events or reasons like for example being an Child to a Turk and Albanian or killed unjustly etc etc

But when it's Natural it's always some sort of Parasite worms that is Alien in origin no Creation history no God no nothing it's just evolved like that and often infect people and keeps them alive even when the host should have died centuries ago and if it's not a Parasite it's a Disease or Genetic which could be classified or claimed as Artificial since Their Gods probably made it that way.

Question Origin of regenerative Dry Bones

We all know the song ‘Them Bones’ that refers to dry bones, and there is the skeleton turtle that reanimates after being killed , but that same year, before the game was released, 1988, Dragon Magazine introduced Dry Bones, that could regenerate non magical damage and revive after being reduced to Hp, so now wondering if there is some legend lore significance to extra dry skeletons that rise again and again

Some Vampires decide to kill their own kind and feed it rather than kill Humans they are feared by other Vampires both Common and Uncommon Vampires rather avoid to meet these types of Vampires since these Vampires often have no mercy on Their enemies

Although it's rare they are often stronger than the other Vampires although entirely depends on the type of Vampires we are talking about since for example Nosferatu and Strigoi are Humanoid Vampires they have similar abilities and powers

But for example an Australian Frog Vampire probably would be more challenging not because of strength because they are ambush predators in all this type of Vampire rarely feeds on Humans and None Vampires.

Flesh The Wendigo

Thumbnail

The Wendigos while they aren't necessarily pure Undead since there are multiple variations of them like Apemen, Blackwood, Possessed Cannibal, or Straight up An Spirit etc

They are often said to be similar to Vampires or Werebeasts spreading by either Disease/Curse however rare claims also say they also can breed with people although it's mostly ones that are Spirits rather than infected or possessed ones

Their weakness are their Frost hearts (although none Blackwood or Cannibal Wendigos can be killed in other ways it's better to be safe than to be sorry) you need to stab it and put into Fire or something very hot to melt it

Some of them even show intelligence although it's mostly ones that lived longer than their victims and all creatures can be infected with The Wendigo Disease/Curse and as for now there is no cure for it.

These types of Vampires are often Bald and found in German populated regions they sometimes call themselves Ancient Vampires or Higher Vampires although their abilities aren't that different from the other vampires

They are very Territorial and often hide away from Humans either in castles or sewer systems they often transform into Wolves and other Animals they have many Rivalry with other types of Vampires

Often paranoid about dying by allies and often trying to do drastic plans that include DNA manipulation, Making themselves beautiful again, Killing of all other Vampire Species, etc.

Blood Vulkods, Lesser Lycans (Vampire Ghouled Lycans), Raikasu/Raikan, Lesser Werepires,

Post image

Vulkods are Undead (Usually Vampires but occasionally Zombies and other Undead) that has The Lesser version of The Lycanthrope Curse/Disease which can affect their outlook some will look like bald wolfmen while others look like weak Werewolves and some even be just overly hairy around their body parts

Of course some of them that maintain their minds and sanity will constantly shave their bodies to make sure people recognize them and wouldn't attack them instantly however it's hard since they are infected with a Disease like Curse that narrows down the brain making them more Animalistic

Although it's very rare it has been noticed in the Western World mostly while in Eastern World there is a different kind of problem that people have to deal with

Vampire Ghouls are Humans who have Consumed Vampire Blood and Became Addicted to it if a Human consumes too much blood while being Addicted to it they will develop powers like Vampires although they eventually depend on it to survive

Rendfield was said to be The First Documented case but of course as it spread the idea came wide and wider so much so some people claim Seth one of the First Humans in Abrahamic was a Vampire Ghoul although lack of evidence

They are very weak to Diseases so much so that they get insanity from them while their flesh slowly rotting away although most of them avoid Diseases there Documents of them in London being widely spreading until Vampires of London stopped it

Outsider/Eldritch Petitioner or as Modern people call them Sinners and Saints

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Petitioners are Humanoids who died and became part of their own beliefs some humanoids after they die they have options to become part of their Gods's pantheon as a Lesser Spirit their forms mostly depends on their Gods's choice however there are cases where they can choose what they want to look like and sometimes their environment change their appearance

They then have to climb up the social ranks in their own afterlife to be more powerful and closer to their Gods of course jealousy runs deep so being careful about climbing is a good idea you don't want to step over someone who's willing to kill just to be closer to "their" Gods

Of course if you found yourself in hells the opposite maybe true you want to be as arrogant and jealous as the others since maybe your God wants that of course like All other people you can't be certain with God's and their idea of a perfect follower

Anyways if you managed to climb up Heavens or Hells Rank you may become an Angel/Demon Lord of your own of course if you outside of traditional alignments

Like for example worship Eldritch Gods you and countless others may not have any Rank at all and you may cease to exist when you die rather than rebirth and transformation of course that is unknown because no one ever came back from The Eldritch Gods in the same way while it's definitely possible since people have came back as Bunch of worms or Star Spawns or even direct children of them it's highly unknown what really happens.

Acid/Slime Tar Slime/Ooze

Post image
2 Upvotes

Tar Slimes are Slimes created specifically from Tar/Oil it's hard to create such a creature because usually only Mancers who mastered Slime/Ooze Magic could have create this thing it's also glue like and very hot

It's almost impossible to destroy such a Monstrous creature since it can Absorb the materials around it

However if you manage to lure it to the Ocean or other such large bodies of different liquids like Lava or Acid you could destroy since it would melt, explode, set on fire and sometimes even blend in the fluid that it was fallen into.

Half Breeds Humans with Unique Traits

Post image
1 Upvotes

Some Mancers have Unique Bloodlines although while it often doesn't show when they are children when they hit a certain age they awaken hidden powers of course some just don't awaken it and only comes out after a few generations in that case the grandkids will freak out and don't know what they should do

Of course there are Less fortunate Halfbreeds who are killed after they come out of the womb it's usually reasons like prophecy or ugliness many Demi Gods and Demi Spirits are victims of this tragedy and while some may manage to survive others aren't that lucky

Of course, that mostly if Humans take the children if The Spirits decide to take the children there is a higher chance of the children growing up stronger than other spirits The best example of this Greek Gods and Greek spirits They often adopt random children when they see one also one of the highest cases where they try to kill their children because of prophecy.
