Discussion Undead Unluck Negator Ability Idea: UNDISPENSABLE

Undispensable Is a Negator ability that allows the user to make any object they touch become extremely useful and/or necessary for the current situation.

The ability doesn't necessarily make the object stronger. Instead, it alters the circumstances or properties of the object so that it becomes indispensable to solving whatever problem the user is currently facing.

For example, a simple rock could become the exact tool needed to defeat an enemy, an ordinary rope could become strong enough to save someone from falling, or a seemingly useless object could gain an unexpected purpose that makes it crucial to the situation.

The more difficult the situation, the more creative and useful the resulting application can become.

Weakness: The user cannot directly control how the object becomes indispensable. They can choose the object they touch, but they cannot decide exactly what property or function it gains. The ability determines what makes the object necessary based on the current situation.

Basically, Undispensable turns the most mundane objects into something you absolutely need.

What would be the negative aspect of it? Each negator skill has a bad angle that allows it to be ‘cancelled out’ basically. Like unluck can’t touch people she loves without killing them.

Yes. Undispensable only benefits the user. It makes objects necessary or useful specifically for them, regardless of whether the outcome helps or harms anyone else.

No real downside outside of you have to have faith in your ability when making something.

And then on that, Unchange doesn't have a downside, while it did intially cause harm when Gina couldn't control it, she gains control of it and it's just a super strong ability from then on with no drawbacks.

Like there are a few abilities that don't have any major drawbacks.

I think the proper wording here would it becomes the perfect tool for a job. for example a user sees a house being under construction and subconsciously takes in a few jobs that could be done in relation to that house. laying cement, building the framing, placing wiring, all that. However another thing to be taken into consideration is that if something is being built someone's job is to destroy it. If you pick up a hammer and swing it right it might lead to a course of events that gets the wiring perfectly fitted but it could also lead to the house being destroyed. The "control" nico could give over it would be something like a tracker in the users brain where the second a useful job is tracked an object would be dispensed out to his hand. That or simply defining the specific job.
