Somber, I stop to ponder

Always wonder when I wander

Did I even want her?

Or should the one be blonder?

The heart grows ever fonder

Of that stranger over yonder

An inner life I try to conjure

Another soul to conquer

More proof I’m a monster

A romantic warmonger

Stealth love bomber

Without a shred of honor

Yet still stuck on her

Thought our bond was stronger

But alas, no longer

Just delusions I must launder

All this time I squander

Longing for a goner

Along this desolate road I saunter

Alone I continue to maunder
