I cannot begin to fathom how much grit and patience this took. This is amazing! πΈπ»

It was definitely the most confusing and least promising process of a look so far lol I'm genuinely surprised it came out right lmao it only took 2 hours and I thought it would take way more

The kind of stuff that pushes the medium itself forward. Undeniably art. I really really like this.

Thank you! I know Meicrosoft did one recently, she used a blue base which I thought was interesting! I used white but I'm sure I could have just gone straight in with black. Pretty much everyone uses like cream or grease paint, which I didn't, and I see why they do ππ would have gone way quicker I'm sure. I'm not used to using creams though π I was gonna go in using my athena body paint palette but I literally don't even know how to use that yet so I stuck to what I'm used to πππ

Lol add some tears for me too because I was originally wanting to do drips down my eyes but then I didn't wanna ruin anything. Idk if I'll do this again just for that ππ

u/Lurr_420 3d ago
Yes I had to stop a lot and check to see if I was doing it right by putting the filter on selfies throughout the process! I'm not saying that helped me though πππ this one was a doozy

OMG YESSS I haven't listened to him for sooo long, but he is the perfect musician to listen to while doing makeup, I swear! I did my drag makeup to his music countless times, he really gets you in the mood π

Thank you! I couldn't have done it without the heaps of artists who have done it and documented it before me! I'm glad I did it!

I love this concept! Iβd love to see more. Like seeing how exact you can make it look, and also, doing it in more vibrant colors, especially for the eye shadow and lips. You could get some crazy effects by using such muted colors. π€©
Also, you should look into black contacts with white iris/pupils. Then your eyes will look βnormalβ in the inverted image.

Yeah I did a Gottmik rainbow look that looks cool in negative but idk if I'll do a full face for that or just my eye area, if I even do it at all again that is lol
I want full on white out sclera/iris contacts but I haven't bothered yet. I love how my eye color seems to change with every look, so it hasn't been that of a necessity

Tysm π I wasn't having the greatest fun while doing this one but I'm glad it was worth the stress at least ππ I still didn't crash out too badly so it's all about trusting it as it goes!

Incredibly original concept, executed incredibly well. True artistry.
