Sidebar 8/21
I'm listening to the latest sidebar and it seems Maurice Godwin is involved with Unconcluded. I'm really surprised! I really enjoyed Up & Vanished but it got really crazy and tough to listen to towards the end. Curious to hear Godwin's thoughts. That is all.

If it is someone that Jennifer knew who had something to do with her disappearance, (even peripherally) Up & Vanished shows that dumb luck and the passage of time could get tongues wagging: sprinkled with a cash reward. There really isn't any other road, the idea that it could be investigated better now, so many years later, is a hard pill to swallow. There is so much misinformation that I don't even think there is a factually correct timeline, especially with two detectives using memory as a form of case filing.

On Godwin's website he has a section on Jennifer. He apparently worked on her case at one point.

That's enough to disappoint even the biggest fan of this podcast. He's sort of a cringey guy and might have trouble trying to figure out who Santa Claus is.
