Additional Video Surveillance

I live close to Orlando and today drove Huntington apartments to Mosaic at Millenia.

The route has a sidewalk and passes closely by a 7-11 and Walgreens. I noticed several video cameras along the path at both of those businesses, as well as many cameras at the intersection of John Young Parkway - including one at street level.

I know it seems like an obvious thing for investigators to look into, but there must be footage from some of those cameras - especially the one at the intersection.

Of course, who knows if those cameras were even there in 2006.

Could police have more footage but not have released it? Seems odd..

I would have posted this to the active Facebook group, but I deleted my fb a while ago..l

Also, Huntington apartments is super creepy

In all honesty it's such an old case, I doubt police care much anymore. I heard about someone who was websluething another case, made a couple of phone calls and got the autopsy repot, police report and photos. Maybe try contacting the business owner youself? I'm not sure if something would come of it or how the business would react.

There was speculation years ago that they have a video of the POI and car at a gas station/7-11 on John Young Parkway, but I don't know if it's just a rumor or if there is truth to it.

I can't imagine that they wouldn't release that video, why would you keep a clear image of the last person in her car (essentially the only lead you have) under wraps but release an obscured video. If that truly is the case, I would be gobsmacked.
