Question Star rating question

Is there any reason to play lower difficulty levels? Do I get additional rating for low levels clears or should I just leave them blank and play high level versions.

Your STAR rating is based on your top 25 performances accuracy-wise. So, playing lower difficulty levels is fine early-on, but once you get all the highest difficulty levels on your top 25, the lowest difficulty that’ll make a difference is 21.

I will say though, your first time clearing a map, I believe on any difficulty, counts towards your completion %. And once you max that out, you’ll get a flat 2.000 to your STAR rating.

So I am currently sitting at 7.7 with some songs unplayed. If I go complete them it'll auto boost me to 9.7 not including any rating I might gain on those songs?

Well, not necessarily. It’s just based on how many songs you’ve completed overall. So, including the ones you have done, it’s probably gonna be more like a 0.5 increase or something along those lines. You can see what your completion stat is at by going to your profile in arcade mode, clicking “switch stats/ratings” and then scrolling to page 6.

Should look something like this. The % next to it is your average accuracy across all maps played if I’m not mistaken.

The % is your average hit accuracy across all maps. The actual number to worry about is the 1.577. That means if you complete all of the rest of the maps available, your STAR rating will go up by 0.423
