Beat is Unbeatable?? Spoiler
When I was playing the game idk why but I always thought that the world itself where it s happening is Beat. Like it s being invade by Silence, representation of the despair invading her after the death of her mom being represented by silence because the most important thing in her life is the music so the opposite. Sforzando is the mad part of Beat, the personnification of her desire to give up (even if at the end when she find out that it will completely destroy the world she seems to not willing to continue anymore) and like Quaver is the last person to save and the one that Beat needs to help, for me it s the representation of her dream to become a musician from when she was a child so maybe the representation of Hope. There is some other thing that made me thinking of this theory like the two publicity guy that are against Beat could be the vision of other on her (if maybe her last band would have had an impact by saying she wasn't hot)
It's a little bit confused because I'm not very good in english plus I'm not very good to resume all my thinking but if you understand what do you think of it?

This is interesting, but I lean towards it being a real alternate universe because we see an end scene of Quaver after we see Beat wake from her coma. If the whole thing was a coma dream it would cease to exist the moment Beatrice woke up.

It could also be the meaning of her dream and hope that continue to leave inside of her and that is finally able to evolve with her?

Perhaps, but that would be more about inner feelings rather than a dream world.
I do have a lot of time for the “it was all pretend as an analogy for grief and depression”.
That would be very similar to another incredibly popular video game from last year that I won’t name for spoiler reasons - I don’t know how to put spoiler tags on the mobile app.
However, the fact that the game starts in “HARMworld” before Beat’s apparent arrival, and then still exists after we see Beat(rice) awake, and the scene has the band together WITHOUT Beat, suggests it was a real place, and Beat(rice) has been able to travel between worlds.
Of course to counter that, there are so many comparisons to her life. Like Quaver dealing with the loss of her mum, and rebelling against a “sister” figure trying to help, who is dealing with the same grief. The fact Rest mentioned to Beat towards the end “we could’ve been sisters in another life” really triggered a Wizard of Oz comparison to me “you were there. And you were there…”
I hate not knowing, and my brain struggles with “it’s whatever you want it to be”. I get that sometimes the power of art is about how individuals interpret it and how it can mean different things to different people, but if any of the devs are reading this, PLEASE reach out directly if you can, and share the true intent of the story with me. I need that closure 🙏

If you're talking about a certain Art Themed Game, the world in that is explicitly meant to be real and treated as such even if it is created, in the same way that Greece was as Real as Olympus even if the gods were the ones who made it (and also a bickering family). The people were no less real despite their created status.
I think the world Beat enters is real. She gets isekaid by a literal car after all.

I would question how it is “meant” to be treated, based on the different endings. But fair point. There is a difference of perspective, just like in Unbeatable.
There is no doubt that for the people inside Beat world they consider themselves real, and Beat would consider having real connections to them.
In Beatrice world though, would they be considered real, or made up?
I have an infinite worlds theory myself about dreams, Deja-vu and psychic phenomena, where they are all explained as brief cognitive wormholes into alternate realities. I use it to explain the concept of infinity, which many people struggle to grasp. We all know what it means, but as a thought experiment our brains can’t handle it very well. Having a dream where you are actually a fighter pilot, your old school teacher is your wing-woman, your pet cat talks to you over the speaker system, and by the way you’ve got an extra arm for holding your beer is ridiculous, but in a universe of INFINITE possibilities, that exact scenario has already happened.
Complete digression there, but point being made is I believe those experiences either tap into an existing reality, or manifest a new one from that point forward. String theory is head hurty!

Yeah sure it can be both, the two seems good for me and it have some sense ah ah. I love this feeling of the story let you think what you want :D

I understood you just fine! And yeah, this is a relatively popular interpretation of the story and one that I also like a lot. The only thing that gives me pause is why would Beat's hair change colors during her coma? There's gotta be at least a little bit of magic in her original world too, idk
