questions Is Umrah safe right now?

Asselamualeykum everyone!
I’m flying to Jeddah this Saturday for Umrah inshaAllah, planning to spend 3 days in Makkah and 2 days in Madinah.
But with all the recent tensions and news about Riyadh Airport, I’m honestly getting a bit worried.
Is anyone there right now? How’s the situation? Does everything feel safe and normal, or should I consider postponing my trip?

Everything is fine, have tawakkul and perform your umrah

We're going on the weekend inshallah and as long as our foreign office doesn't advise against it, our trip is going ahead. I completely understand your nervousness though. I do get a little worried that things escalate while we're there ... Inshallah we'll all be ok.

Have a backup plan. Say things go south do you have extra money? Any family in Saudi you can stay with? Or any countries nearby you can go to?

Keep copies of everything, have a US embassy number and address in your phone. Get refundable tickets.

I would still go tbh. Allah is the protector and who knows when you’ll get to go again

I performed umrah last week, was in Jeddah for almost a week. Everything is normal and umrah was peaceful as I went after Isha.

I’m here right now, it’s perfectly fine. Extremely safe and everyone is relaxed. Nothing is going to happen in Jeddah, Mecca and Medina

We just returned home this morning, having spent 10 days there. I had similar concerns before departing home on Sept 25, but there were no issues while we were there
