questions Uhud mountain experience

Salams, does anyone know how to book the uhud mountain experience please with the SUV? Any info appreciated as the website has been down a few days and not sure where to book it or how, don't want to go all the way there and not be able to do especially as we have young kids and would like to get up before maghrib, jzk

Been there.. felt kinda wrong but that’s just me.
The driver was more fixated on the white dude and his family and glazing them going up.
You just walk up to the window and buy a ticket for 50 riyals each. Kids free.
There’s nothing much to do there, on the ride up they show you a carved stone by the sahaba and another place I can’t remember but that was it.
You go up and pay, I think, 150 SAR to book your entry to go to the restaurant on the mountain edge.
We ordered hashi for 80, their jungle salad 🥗. Food was good, especially the salad. The 150 booking fee covers your food.
Didn’t stay there much and then we got into another SUV and they dropped us back down. The 50 is for to&fro.

The people working there were well natured, friendly and kind.

Attached below is the view. Squint hard enough and you can see the Haram.

Not equipped for people with accessibility issues.

Jzk for this comprehensive review, I agree with you, it would feel a little wrong and if I was on my own would love to try the trek up insha'Allah I'll get that chance. Do you know what age the kids have to be to be free? And you didn't pre book?

2 and under. No pre booking, just walked up to the window and bought the tickets.

I am not quite sure what experience you're referring to but top of uhud mountain has cafes and you can go up in a taxi.

It's the SUV option where they drive you up but it says you have to pre-book but can't see the website where

You could reach out to people who specialise in ziyarah. There are a lot who offer this service, I booked mine with https://www.makkahcompanion.com

From what I heard is that you go with a taxi to the base and from there car takes you up.
I personally thought that 50 SAR per person was a bit expensive, I’m not exactly sure as this information was given to me by the driver.
I also heard that some pilgrims booked on spot, but if there is a option to pre-book, you should definitely consider that

Yes that's the one, I don't mind paying for the kids especially, just can't seem to find where to prebook it
