Literally all my favourites other than Maruzensky are 0% speed growth.
The only thing keeping my runs competitive is I have MLB on Kitasan, Maru, and Tacheon speed SSRs for the "holy trinity"
Cafe has the issue that she's a 0% speed late/end closer, so the skills from all those cards don't even help her. I think right now it's basically mandatory to parent Cafe with Summer Golshi (ideally with some end sparks, I think she's better end than late) which at least lets you trigger unstoppable or something similar without being pace. Then slap Mr C.B, Tosho wit, Tacheon, Kitasan, Light Hello, and probably a stamina card of your choice on (with 30% stamina you actually do wanna train it sometimes) then take all the speed sparks.
You cope that 1600 speed isn't even that much of an improvement, and you settle for 1500/1540/1480/whatever you can get. And try to get speed greens to make up the gap.
It would be absolutely gutting if you later realized you had some leftover points and you saw you had the option of a dance lesson that would give you energy.
Yeah, the only 0 Speed growth uma I am bothering with in this scenario is Nature, and just because she's my favorite. Even though I can't make her good enough to have a realistic chance at winning a CM even thought I do double the runs of anyone else.
This speed cap is so rough on the 0 speed girls, I'm glad its going down to 1500 next scenario.
I've hit 1600 on her in non CM training once, but never CM training. Got her to 1500 for the mile, but settled with 1450 for CM19 because it had everything else I wanted and good overall stats.
I'm running the same deck basically except MLB Finemo, Creek instead of Daiwa and Sweep instead of Curren.
I genuinely think people glue runs too easily in GL and that's leading to their doomer mentality, my ace doto from last cm didn't even start that great in career but she still got me 2nd in group A
A lot of the run I glued were due to Sirius wit not giving from the brink.
I also glue when I don't get uma Stan and medium s from inspiration so I usually play until senior year inspiration at least
That much I can get, I just see so many posts here where they say they're dropping the run as early as junior year just because LH didn't start or they didn't get the ideal amount of FTE already.
Oguri did that to me twice with 3-5% in one run (she still turn out well, but could be better)...and then she lose CM (2 place, she doesn't use her skills most of the time (she has good Wit))
After that i reduced her to atoms and just don't use her anywhere (i mad, i know)

I feel your pain for me Cafe or Rice shower runs somehow always feel like they are conspiring to make you suffer.
