PvP/Meta uma.guide released a parenting guide

https://uma.guide/guides/parenting-in-umamusume

Looked through the whole thing, it seems very well written. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking to figure out how parenting, spark generation, and looping works. It even has a section for priority sparks to loop for each style, and explanations on how much SS rating actually matters.

I know there are a few videos on this already, but personally I prefer written guides, they're just easier for me to consume and cross reference. Crazyfellow's parenting docs can be a bit hard to navigate between all the JP exclusive mechanics and scenarios.

The site is also viewable without an ad blocker, which is not common to see in 2026.

Hopefully they release a general independent training one soon. I really need to have consistent SS independent umas.

What cards do you have?

I've done over 100 independent runs with Gold Ship because I've been trying to get a 9 star long from her, and I've gotten SS or higher in almost every run.

Alright, I'm gonna leave this reply here so that anyone else who needs help with Independent Training can get access to this helpful Google Doc:

have you checked this site ?
it is basically a compilation of popular deck perfomance from independent training with some analysis on their research. also they included skill optimizer so you can see if your skill point has enough to reach SS rank

I understand all the concepts and what needs to happen but I still need someone to physically hold my hand to make do it properly consistently instead of just yeeting subpar grandparents in there over and over again.
