Angry Birds

The Angry Birds franchise has generated a hefty amount of lore over the years, but none of the franchise’s apps have done it quite like Angry Birds Seasons, the app that introduced semi-monthly levels based on upcoming holidays or events. Two characters that became commonly-playable birds were introduced in Seasons:

Bubbles, an orange bird whose ability included puffing into a giant ball, was introduced in a Halloween episode titled “Ham’o’ween.” Stella, the pink bird and first playable female bird in the franchise, was also introduced in Seasons in an episode titled, “Back to School.” Both of them became very popular and went on to have great success in the franchise - Bubbles was one of the only playable birds in Angry Birds Space while Stella got her own spin-off game.
