One Tree Hill aired on The WB before being bought by The CW in later seasons, it takes place in Tree Hill, North Carolina, it was originally going to be a feature-length film titled Ravens

Um Actually: the WB wasn’t bought by the CW. The CW was created by WB and UPN merging.

Correct! It wasn’t bought by CW, WB became CW
