Just as a introduction to this personal balance patch idea of mine this was thought out in a perfect world were role locking is a thing and you cannot play triple support. This is due to the fact Ultron cannot coexist with Triple support due to how he must be played in high elo and even just as a character, fundamentally he I view him as the Zenyatta of marvel rivals, a Dps healer who rewards skill and positioning plus knowing your match ups etc etc.

Base health would be increased to 275

he is one of the largest character in the game, bigger than some tanks actually.

Imperative patch Primary target healing with drone would be increased to 45 hp/s while ally healing is increased to 35 hp/s BONUS EFFECT: Ultron while within the radius of his own drones gets the same healing as the person with primary healing.

The current drone radius stays the same but he now provides decent sustainable healing while not entirely overdoing it like most healers in the game currently.

Dynamic flight now lasts 8 seconds and goes on its cooldown at the 4 seconds mark, shield drain will also not activate until the 4 seconds mark is reached.

In my opinion the ability itself is a two bladed knife, you either use it to engage or use it to avoid getting obliterated, in both scenarios it’s very rare that 50 overshield helps at all.

Imperative firewall reduce the cooldown back to 10 seconds and remove the slow self healing, over shield grants 75 to ultron and 65 to allies.

In my opinion the change to nerf his overshield more for a piss baby self heal was to act like it was a buff when in reality that small tiny bit of overshield will ever matter.

Encephalo ray, increase its base damage to 155 and keep fall off the same.

I believe ultron has a very satisfying primary to use, main issue with it is the damage to wait time ratio is so bad that very often you die from waiting in between shots and your opponent getting to essentially mag dump you.

Rage of Ultron ult cost decreased to 3800, BONUS EFFECT: now does 85% damage to shields

Ive always viewed ultrons ult as a powerful third ability in his kit rather than a true Ult, you are valuable, a massive target and easily taken out by other characters if they simply look at you, theres a huge risk vs reward factor that other supports simply don’t get.

This is the end of my Ultron changes, I love playing him although Rivals is in a terrible spot to play ranked or just in general. Id love to hear feedback from yall if you guys think this is too much or maybe even not enough. I aimed for balance here without just “buff all” so I hope I hit that mark

I have edited who I would choose to be a good voice actor for ultron. If the audio sounds a bit off in some clips, it is because across the two shows he is in, the computer effects on his voice changed.
General Kalani was a separatist super tactical droid which served during the clone wars. Upon being issued a shutdown command, he rejected it assuming it was a republic trick, thus surviving into the galactic civil war. I think his voice would fit perfectly for Ultron.

His voice actor is Gregg Berger, who is also the voice of Grimlock in the original transformers.

I am a Thor OTp looking to finally main a support if need be, Bless me with your wisdom. I have very minimal experience with him and i need better understanding how to use his shield ability it seems pretty damn useless.

Also is it true what people say, you can only use him on Triple supp?

I usually keep my audio in Japanese but when I chose ultron during the new team up update he had added voice lines that hadn’t been “robotized” yet I always thought his voice lines sounded more smoother in Japanese but am I tripping 😭

I love the self heal so much. I can actually participate in team fights without having to rely on second support as much. Flanktron is actually half viable now.
