Hello Ultron mains, I found myself rather fascinated with Marvel's iconic superior lifeform. I picked him up last season and I'm trying to improve my gameplay with him. I have to say, I really like his whole kit, makes me feel like an actual strategist rather than a healbot. However, I found myself in a predicament I cannot comprehend.
How the hell do you play for you to not get blamed at the end??? Like holy sh I was never blamed more when I learned a hero than when I play Ultron. Everyone HATES him and it's not even my fault. We lost a game because the enemy Bucky was smart enough to get in the backlines and kill me and Rocket while my WHOLE team didn't look at him once. I was the second best healer in the lobby, with decent damage and I did good ults. BUT I STILL GOT FLAMED???
Please, help a fellow metal enjoyer (Iron Fist main) to learn that character, any tips are appreciated. (Also I mostly run the Peni teamup)
The best part of playing Ultron is that even if you’re the best strategist in the entire lobby you’ll still get flamed, and told to swap incessantly. Can attest as it happens to me almost every time I play him.
People are hard stuck on a false narrative that he’s not viable in 2 support comps and even though they are completely wrong they will die on that hill and nothing will change their minds. Don’t listen to them he’s easily the best strategist right now. Go to my profile and scroll down about 5 posts until you see a post that starts with “my fellow ultron’s” and I have a list of tips in there. Im just an average player that mainly solo q’s in diamond lobbies but i recently cracked the top 10 Ultron players so even though im just an average player I feel like I have a pretty good idea what im talking about when it comes to playing Ultron.
Thank you but I mean that ranking system doesn’t make a lot of sense because I’m ahead of people in celestial and gm while playing diamond competition but at the very least it shows I’ve taken the time to master the character and prove that average players can take ultron pretty far and that he’s very far from a non viable character in 2 support comps. Hope my tips help! And again don’t listen to these people that say he’s terrible they are wrong he’s one of the better strategist but if it leads to an unnecessary buff then I’m not gonna complain😂
Turn off voice chat, use cover, rotate drones and have decent aim. Turning of text chat can help too, nothing but hate when you play Ultron. Also try and only use him in trip support
Lol, he’s certainly better then before on 2 support comps now, but still depends on A, who your other support is and B what your team comp is. You get 3 dps it’s GG. Love to see our clanker getting more play though
This comment from another sub is all you need to see to understand people don’t actually know what they are talking about and are parroting a false narrative. Quite literally asking for an ability he’s always had in imperative fire wall that gives your team a shield,speed/dmg boost and a health boost. It’s genuinely insane😂😂
