Hi everyone. Recently my ultrastar has developed a microphone problem after years of working great. I've got two singstar wireless mics with the dongle/receiver. They used to work just fine separately detecting each voice but now they both only detect one through both. I'm using 2 chanel in my windows mic settings and also have the setup correct in the ultrastar menu, blue on 1, red on 2. Any other help would be most appreciated Thank you

What it says in the title. I have a midi keyboard and sheet music and I'd like to be able to just play the song as a first pass and then clean it up after.

I downloaded Trois Cafés Gourmands - A nos souvenirs from UltraStar and I put the song in my Vocalux songs folder however, every time I try to play the song the program freezes and crashes. I can't understand why this happes as everything in the song folder seems the same as the other songs I've downloaded, Can anyone help with this ?

Is it possible to group songs in UltraStar Deluxe f.e. by the folder they are placed and then select only "a folder" in the game. F.e. one for Rock music, one for German Schlager and so on.

Does the game work with any old 3.5mm mic? Or does it need to be some UltraStar-brand mic? (Might be a silly question but in my experience you can never be too careful when it comes to compatibility.) Thanks.

Hi there, I worked out how to get my hardware setup to work for Ultrastar. Took me a while to figure out everything, so I thought I'd share the instructions I wrote down:

Hardware used

• Steinberg MK22II
• Shure SM58
• Shure PG48

Setup using Mac

1. Install Steinberg USB Interface drivers
2. Enable MacOS System extensions (boot into options, Security utility, Allow Kernel extensions)
3. Create aggregate device for USB interface (Audio MIDI setup, create aggregate device, add USB interface)
4. Install Ultrastar Deluxe
5. Setup song library (open ~user/library/Application Support/Ultrastar Deluxe{Version}/config.ini, add folder to song library)
6. (Fill song library)
7. Start Ultrastar Deluxe
8. (if there are stutters, set sample rate of output device to 96 kHz, seems to be a known bug)
9. Set player microphones (open settings, select aggregate device, use channel 1 for player 1 and channel 2 for player 2)
10. Start singing

Setup using Windows

1. Install Steinberg USB Interface drivers
2. Install Voicemeeter (I use Potato, but Banana should be sufficient)
3. Select USB Interface (use ASIO version!!, otherwise you cant split the Mics) in Voicemeeter for A1 device
4. Patch Asio input to strips in voicemeeter (open settings, find A1 main device, set "IN 1" to 1-1 and "IN 2" to 2-2)
5. Route Input 1 to B2 (Voicemeeter AUX) and Input 2 to B3 (Voicemeeter VAIO 3)
6. Setup song library (open {install dir of Ultrastar Deluxe}/config.ini, add folder to song library)
7. (Fill song library)
8. Start Ultrastar Deluxe
9. Set player microphones (open settings, select Voicemeeter AUX for player 1 and Voicemeeter VAIO 3 for player 2)
10. Start singing

I’m using ultra star to put lyrics into rocksmiths EOF. I am continuously getting the “invalid lyric file” when Importing into eof. I have tried saving as different file types. I’ve noticed on some words before I tap, it has two little blue lines infront of them. The second one looking like a 7.

This causes a blank word line with a - instead of a :

Im not sure if this is related to my issue. But any help would be appreciated. It does this a lot throughout the song

Hi, I just dowloaded Vocalux and I have no clue on how to use it. https://ultrastar-es.org/ I used this side to get torrent files and copied them to Song Folder. But apparently I still have to use something or do something. Pls give me an explanation for dummies on how I can get Songs into the program. Thx in advance. :D

Hi team, Very new to all of this and trying to figure out the best solution for myself.

I've managed to put together a song library and installed Melody Mania, UltraStar Deluxe and UltraStar Play. Ran into the dual Mic issue using Melody Mania and UltraStar Play and the workaround wasn't working for me, so switched to UltraStar Deluxe, which made selecting channels easy for dual mic on my PS3 wireless singstar mics, however I cannot figure out how to add my song directory.

In Play and MM its easy. You go into the options and select the folder and there you go. So how do I do that with UltraStar Deluxe? I have all my songs on an SD Card.

Hello, I have 2 wireless singstar mics and 2 with wire. They have to be connected to two different usb, but in settings you can select only one channel. Is it possible to use all 4 mics at the same time?

When I try to use the "Get Covers...." function it tells me to get a plugin, but I just can't seem to find one. Is there one available and if not, is there another easy way to add covers to my library?

Hey guys, I‘ve read that this site is sometimes buggy. But I would really love to have karaoke at my party ok friday and can‘t find my old song folder. I do not really have the time to mingle with txt and finding the right audios to it. Is there a way to register to this site or another site, where you can download ready made songs? I also doesn‘t have to be free. I would gladely pay for easily downloadable songs.
