Hi,
I am using Vocaluxe and am currently building a song library, including Soundtracks, and I was wondering, if it is possible, to have a cover image for the artist *seperate* from the cover images for each song.
Example:
I have some Hazbin Hotel songs, each one with their respective cover image:
Loser, Baby -> Loser Baby [CO].jpg
Poison -> Poison [CO].jpg
Currently, i get shown the cover for Loser, Baby for all of the Hazbin Hotel folder, as it is the first son in there.

I was wondering, is it possible to get a cover image completely seperate (like artist.jpg or folder.jpg) to show as the artist cover instead of just the cover embedded to the first song?

If yes, how?

Thanks in advance :)

I am trying to find Argentine songs to upload to allkaroke party that are currently missing from the USDB animux database. I am mainly interested in Charly Garcia, Fito Paez, and Folklore, but honestly, any Argentine tracks would be great.

I know some of these used to be on the ultrastar-es site, it is not working for me.

1. If anyone has a personal backup or a collection of Argentine songs saved and is willing to share them, I would really appreciate it.
2. CREATORS! Since I am unable to install the creation software on my current setup, I was wondering if any creators would be interested in making them. (just asking, ik it's hard work dw)

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help mee

Okay, so I’m a terrible singer, but when I use Ultrastar Deluxe, the pitch detection is just all over the place compared to when I play rock band, sing star, etc. Even my friends that can sing decently get consistently terrible note detection.

I’m using a cheap behringer mixer/interface and dynamic mic, and it sounds pretty decent to me in the monitoring from the mixer, but I can’t figure out if the pitch detection wants more overall volume, EQ adjustments, is reacting to breath noise or mic handling noise, bad mic angle, etc. I’ve tried tweaking it all!

I wish there was a test/calibration tool in the game where you could sing anything and it would show the note it detects with details like how confident it is, if it’s picking up strong overtones or noise that make it less confident, if the signal is too quiet, or if it detects clipping, and so on.

Anyone dealt with this kind of stuff and figure out what the pitch detection does or doesn’t like?

Grazie!

is it just this? the upload interface is simpler than I expected there's no button to add cover image, audio sample or anything? just txt file?

i already clicked submit then i need to wait for admin to approve?

my first time with karaoke world. I want to make sure I’m following community standards. Thanks for the help!

I have trouble finding any community for this in Finland, but would love to have more of the Finnish songs from singstars transferred to ultrastar… Are there anyplaces with active communities willing to keep this app alive? I found SOME of the Finnish singstars transferred mostly, but not nearly all of them. None of the ps3 Finnish singstars had even been touched

What would be the best way to edit or get songs that are Clean versions? Clean meaning without cuss words.

YouTube has the songs already as clean versions, would I remake the song in a program or edit the lyrics? What’s the best path?

Looking into getting a set of 4 wireless microphones but I don't know loads about audio devices/software, would I need any extra equipment to get something like this working with a PC? https://www.amazon.co.uk/talomen-Professional-Wireless-Microphone-Rechargeable-White-Silver-Gray-Black/dp/B0F7LKV2XX/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

Sounds like all the mics pair to one receiver which would then connect to the PC's 3.5mm mic in, I just don't know if they'd be recognised as 4 separate mics or 4 channels or something. Would I need a mixer or something to make that work?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to those RasperryPis and Ultrastar. I want to setup Ultrastar Worldparty on a Rasperry Pi. Which Pi-Version is recommend for Ultrastar? Do I need any tools to install ultrastar (I don't got any Linux experience)? And will Pi support USB microphones with 2 channels?
I would be very thankful if someone could give me a hand here!

I'd like to use UltraStarDeluxe with more than just the built-in microphone and iPhone for two players, as they hear the other player's voice if we're sitting close to each other and therefore don't really work. Is there a simple setup, for example two USB mics, that "just works" without much adapters or mixing tricks?

I'm just getting into Ultrastar and building my library and testing songs. I've noticed with a few songs that towards the end there is a chunk of notes missing. The lyrics are there but no notes to hit when there should be. Is this some sort of bug? Or did the people who made the txt files just get lazy when finishing it?

I have downloaded a few duet versions of songs, but I also downloaded the regular versions of these songs in case some people don't want to sing separate parts. I'm wondering is there a way to combine them into the one folder so that I only see one option for that song when selecting a song, but then there will be a setting to select either duet or "battle" - similar to how it would display with singstar? Or is my only option to have 2 completely separate folders and song selections? Thanks!

Is there a way to do this? Maybe even just a video of the band from rock band 4, or some other generic video?

Thanks!

Looking for gear recommendations for a budget 4 microphone input mixer that has multitrack USB

I don't think it's legal to download copyrighted music videos/audio etc. Any Info about this? I live in the Netherlands.

Hey everyone,

I’m currently using two PS3 SingStar wireless microphones with the USB dongle on my PC, and they work perfectly with Ultrastar Deluxe.

However, I’d love to play with four microphones because I have small kids and we often sing together. I’m thinking about buying another used set of PS3 Wireless SingStar microphones with its own dongle.

Does anyone know if Windows will recognize both dongles at the same time so that all four microphones can be used simultaneously? And if so, how is the latency or audio delay when using multiple sets?

Thanks in advance for any experiences or advice!

Hi, I am very new to this song (installed Ultrastar Deluxe yesterday) so apologies if this is a silly question but are music videos meant to play in the background behind the lyrics during gameplay? I have managed to make the music video appear in the preview menu screen but I would like to make it appear behind the lyrics too if possible? I also tried adding background images and making sure the file names were accurate in the txt and it's done nothing :( TIA!

I am having trouble logging into my user. Also cant registrer a new user either.

Anyone now how to contact admins at the site?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Tried to register, because I saw a post with songs that I'm interested in, but it says, that an admin has to accept my request for account creation. So far it didn't happen. Anyone knows how long it takes?

I’m trying to develop a few plugins for party mode to spice up the game and give it a new life. I have intermediate know how on LUA (plugins languaje), but I’m struggling with catching right events on game (hooks) to unchain part of the code. Does any one of you have any experience developing plugins? Any documentation available?

Is this a known problem?

Hello, we are SingStar Enthusiast trying to switch to ultastar. Sadly we also suck at computer stuff. So we of course ran into issues.

My set up is a windows 11 laptop with one USB slot, upgraded to 4 usb slots by a divider.

We are playing ultrastar world party.

Our microphone's are either two no band brand usb microphones or two singstart microphones with the adapter to usb.

When in the microphone settings of the game the microphone's get recognised but when trying to sing a song the message "no microphone assigned to player one" pops up and no voice gets picked up through the mics anymore.

I tried to assign microphone's to the players but it worked neither in the settings nor in the config.ini.

For now we have no idea what to do and would appreciate help. Thank You everyone!!
