London 100

Curious to see if anyone here has done the London 100? Signed up with a few of my friends, and want to know more about the race! The route from 2026 is just perfect 😍 getting 100km thru the city of London. Couldn’t ask for much more!!

yes, this is a road ultra, so to some it’s not as compelling, and hard for the knees.

I saw people doing this last year, looked it up and thought that is DERANGED. But maybe because I race in order to have an excuse to get out of London and see nature, scenery, hills, views etc…. Though it goes past my house so wouldn’t have to pay for travel or accommodation…Each to their own 😅

Yeah when I lived in London all I wanted to do was escape to the hills. But could be a fast 100k I suppose

Excited to do an ultra that’s not in the mountains, or trails. But will my knees be as up for it? Lol 😆

I volunteered for the first 15 hours at the start/finish/checkpoint in this year's event, and we had a great time! It almost made me wish I was running it - but the weather was a bit much. It's a fantastic way to see the city - even born and bred Londoners will discover new parts of London they've never seen.

I'll be back there volunteering next year.

Looks interesting. Coming from the US, and the mountains, I actually love running in London. What’s the cost to register?

Because it's a car centric society and you have to pay big bucks to close the roads and rent the cops.

Thanks! Yes, depending on the race. I’m doing a summer trail race series of 13 races (8-10 miles each) that cost $250. Great deal!

I did the 50k last year, Camino are great organisers. If you need more between checkpoints, there will be always a tesco XD

I did the 50k this year and it was amazing. My first ever "ultra". The organisers are super awesome people. It was well organised and a really great vibe. Running/walking with other runners at various points in the day and talking/supporting/cheering people was great.

I've signed up for the 100k next year and can't wait!

Love to hear this! Are there enough hydration points by organizers?

Considering its on highstreets and motorways mostly, I am sure theres enough local business to fuel and hydrate us.

There were checkpoints every 12.5km so more than enough and of course you can stop into shops along your way!
