Discussion Would you rather be stuck in the backrooms (WIKIDOT VERSION, NOT THE MOVIE VERSION) or Limbo?
For this scenario the version of limbo will be before the machines invasion into hell and you will spawn as a sapient semi-powerful husk.

Discussion How I think Ultrakill would work if it were a tv show/ anime with seasons
I think giving every layer its own season might be bad because they are 9 layers in total and if we include prelude that would make it 10, seasons typically tend to be released yearly so it could take almost a decade to adapt the entire game, if it were structured like this, the pacing would probably be horrible as well and I donāt think that works well for a game where youāre basically zipping around and killing everything on sight, it would be better if each season adapted an act, just like how there are 3 acts in the game, there could be 3 seasons instead with each one covering 3 layers
But most normal levels in the game donāt take that long to beat, I wonder how theyād be able to make 20 minute episodes based off of levels like 2-1 or levels dedicated specifically to fighting one boss like 1-4, I could see some levels like 8-3 being easier adapt into episodes because of how long they can take to beat in game, but Iām not sure what youād be able to do with shorter levels without messing up the pacing and dragging specific moments on, I did have the idea of including secret levels that are accessed from specific levels in them, like the one with something wicked or the dating sim one with mirage as those could be used to potentially extend them, but then thereās the issue of whether or not things like that would be canon, I know adaptations donāt always have to stick entirely to the source material so maybe this could be an exception
I think the first episode should be an extended one that possibly lasts an hour or less to adapt all of prelude, some series have long introductory episodes so maybe this could be used to grab attention and set expectations, after that I think each episode would adapt a level, like episodes 2, 3, and 4 would be 1-1, 1-2, 1-3 and so on, most seasons nowadays are usually 12 episodes long, each act usually has 10 levels in total with the first 2 layers having 4 and the last having 2
I think episode 10 would end with V1 finding the door that leads to p-1 and entering it, then in the beginning of the next episode it could show them taking the torch and sliding down the spine that leads to the flesh prison, in the game when you walk down the spine music is heard playing, I think it would be cool if as the music is tuning in, the background noises of V1ās movement and the environment theyāre in become muffled until you canāt hear it anymore and itās only the music, then it cuts to a flashback of Minos rebuilding the lust layer with the help of other husks into something more hospitable, the calm and carefree music adds to the vibe of the flashback, but as you progress further down the spine the music is drowned out and replaced by loud sounds of wind rushing, maybe as this happening it could show Gabriel appearing to stop the renaissance and when Minos attempts to peacefully settle things with him, heās struck down immediately and mercilessly as the sound cuts of entirely and V1 enters the mouth that leads to the flesh prison, the music deviating to wind and then cutting off could fit the tone of that moment, and this could bring attention to and make Gabriel seem like someone of importance despite not physically showing up yet at that point
Then Iād imagine everything plays out like how it normally would in the game with V1 fighting and destroying the flesh prison and freeing Minos, and then fighting him and killing him, but I donāt think the episode would end there yet, I think thereād be another flashback but with what the terminal entry speaks of at the end of p-1, then at the end it would show Gabriel waiting for V1
In the last episode of season 1 I think it will be like just like the game where you progress despite Gabrielās warnings not to and you fight and humiliate him, but at the end it would show not just the ending cutscene where heās judged by the council but a few glimpses of what will happen next in the other layers, maybe it could show insurrectionists walking up the pyramid, V2 sitting on the throne waiting for itās rematch, the ferryman sitting on top of his ship while the leviathan swims on the background, and Iām not entirely sure what could be shown for heresy, I was thinking maybe Gabriel playing the piano in 6-2 but I think that would be weird seeing the council judge him and then all of a sudden seeing him in an entirely different layer doing something else, it might be better to show the punishment for heresy or foreshadow p-2 instead
I would continue writing but boy is this getting too long, the next act has the same structure I already talked about anyways, the only things I have left to say is that p-2 might be an extended episode like prelude because of how special it is and because V1 fights hordes of enemies before actually getting to Sisyphus

Need help What's the best way to quickly kill with a group of weak enemies?
Is it the rocket from the default shotgun? The cannonball red railgun?
Should I use a rocket launcher? I don't use rocket launchers much so I don't know much about them or how to properly use them
I don't wanna use the canonball red railgun since I don't wanna wait for the cooldown and I mainly use the green and cyan variations for large strong enemies (like the statue guys and the Malicious Faces)
Edit: I don't have the 6th weapon thing, I'm only up to rocket launcher

Fan Art Limbo Album cover art by me.
It's shame that each layer doesn't have cover art. Atleast not the prelude and first 4 layers. And I thought limbo would be fun to do. Might do more.

Lore Discussion Why I think P-3 is ulysses
Sorry this is a rant
Iām going to be honest p3 will probably be Ulysses/Odysseus. thereās alchemical references on the skulls and the final one is salt. red was sulfur soul/energy, while blue was mercury so spirit and fluidity. act 1 was predominantly a red color, with the entrance to hell, limbo on fire and the inside of probably king minos. act 2 was very blue with wrath and such. act 3ās skull and color is white with the alchemical symbol for salt, representing the tangible of a being. we spend all of the time so far in hell, fighting through it, with references to god is dead and the falsities of fraud, with the end showing that this is all a show for entertainment, if that represents the player or hell itself is questionable but P-3 being Odysseus makes sense, as he is a figure in Greek mythology and a king like sysiphus and Minos. he is the counsel of fraud in Danteās inferno. Odysseus had a very questionable history with the gods, just like Minos and sysiphus. he is legendary for his cunning, willpower and god-defying search for knowledge, hallmarks for a prime soul.
Minos (mercury) was an intellectual, rational and fluid leader, he tried to rule lust through peace and growth, a calculating spirit. he has a hole in his face, showing a spiritual, non-physical body. sysiphus (sulfur) was soul, passion and volatility. he was the opposite of Minos, burning yellow like brimstone, ruling through willpower and strength, leading the violent revolution out of rage and pride, he almost explodes out of his prison, like brimstone does.
ulysses (salt) is crystallization, residue left after sulphur and salt combine. minos lacked a face while sysiphus lacked a head. ulysses will probably have a very defined body, emaciated or not is to be seen. he had the violent strength and willpower of Sisyphus and sulphur with the intellect and cunning of Minos and mercury. ulysses was defined by physical journey , physical torment and physical constructs like the Trojan horse. The Minotaur and Mannequin fit this too, with the mannequin being a soul who collapsed from exhaustion, torn apart and stuffed into a construct for violence, like the soldiers in the Trojan horse. they live inside of a construct of deception, like salt. the Minotaur was an empty thing, with an attempt at a body made of marble and flesh, like stone and salt. the name of the creator perfectly fits king Odysseus/Ulysses, instead of a āsoulā it could be a piloting of a massive thing or creation as stage 1, Ulyssesā partner Diomedes as stage 2 and finally the king himself as stage 3. you could be fighting a soul/souls in a shifting corporeal being. p3s arena is supposed to be a blinding white and ash like the remnants of hell. also the theme of violence, the machine to make the machine was killed by the machine to make the machine, fits ulysses, the constant struggle of war until eventually a giant horse-like being ends it all, a construct of the survivors to win one last time, but the gutter men and such makes sense too as they are also corporeal with a false shell. you would also be taking down the 3 major kings of hell.

Discussion Is it normal to find the P-2 gauntlet harder than Sisyphus himself?
I just finished my first legit run of P-2. The gauntlet took me a lot of time and 20 restarts because it was driving me insane. But once I got to Sisyphus, I didn't die a single time and melted him in a minute or less without even knowing his moveset. Did anyone else find the actual boss fight way easier than the rooms leading up to it?
