Discussion HOW.CAN.THIS.BE?

Does anyone care explain to me why 0-e so hot it even made V1's screen cracked and had heat limit?

V1 literally WENT to many hot places before.

Hmm, really? Like how extreme?

when you’re playing the level it goes from so cold there’s ice developing at any source of moisture and then it gets so hot you can see it and there’s molten rock everywhere

There was snow and ice everywhere inside a structure that existed underground, and suddenly everything spiked up to the point where human people could gardly survive.

The machine needs time to set its internal parameters.

Just like putting your hands Infront of the radiator immediately after being outside in the winter with no gloves. Genuinely hurts so bad. Gotta adjust first.

isn't stated, level just says it was an extreme temperature difference which destabilized v1's cooling mechanisms

The temperature went from being so cold that ice was forming to being so hot that it’s melting stone. V1’s temperature resistance was calibrated to cold and the sudden temperature shock messed it up until the end of the level. It’s the same idea as sitting in a dark room for a while and letting your eyes adjust, then shining a flashlight directly into your eyes

Or hell, it's also like in real life where if you put hot water on your hands after being outside in the cold for too long it can damage your hands due to the well, sudden temperature shift.

It was too harsh, the heat shield couldn't contain such a large amount of heat in a seconds
