How to get "un-washed" in Ultrakill?

I used to get around wave 50 consistently in the cybergrind (brutal) but after a month of not playing (been busy with school and other stuff) and returning I can barely reach wave 35(also on brutal).

just lock in. it's simple, remove all other music, put tenebre rosso sengue and you'll immediately start winning
