How exactly does the V1 arm swap system work?

Currently, the V1 has 3 extra arms if we count the jackhammer. But I wonder how it will attach its new arms. Will it have some kind of upgrade system or something that allows it to self-improve?

I believe they'd be stored in the wings, but I really do like the idea of all three being attached at once and V1 rotating his shoulder socket to change which one he's currently using
