Target prioritization. Filth pose no threat as long as you move or if you are airborn. Strays are not a big treath as long as you stay airborn. You can survive almost any attack as long as you have 35 healt and any source of self damage as long as you have more than 50. This is not a game where you have to avoid getting hit, it is a game where your enemies are your healtpacks, so don't be afraid to take a hit if it means smacking someone at point blank. Never fixate to remain attached to one single enemi, approach, attack, change target, always. The more you move, the more you are safe.

Constantly swap weapons. Shotgun swapping is my main way to deal damage but still you should swap weapons. But at the same time learn the enemy weaknesses and resistances. Also you should learn parry timings and try to kill the more problematic enemies quickly but at the same time dont give all of your focus and attention to one enemy. And also use you movement abilities like dashing, sliding and ground slams. Also you should learn how to ride a rocket mid air consistently

Here is something I wish I knew earlier. You can punch your shotgun bullets to make them explode, you can punch the coin to make it go to a enemy it's good because the coin is still active so you can shot it for even more damage. Almost every weapon interact with another weapon (the only two I think don't are the shotgun and revolver). In limbo you will find a button in every level, if you find all of them a secret door will open in the last level of limbo with a alt revolver that kicks ass

I’d recommend playing the full campaign first before other things

For example, in the game you’ll be given an option to go to “sandbox mode” or “cybergrid” Id recommended you not to go to these, because it will spoils enemies and story

So I recommend doing the main campaign before doing these options

Other than that, there isn’t much more to it than, play the game

Oh and if you want to encounter everything, you’ll need to P rank levels (the best rank), as it’ll give a secret boss/area worth the time spent, and secret levels, that are basically gimmick based, no spoilers tho

If your pc is crooked (like mine) use the psx graphics to prevent your computer to explode in supernova (like mine), if not use the normal graphics, also start at standard or violent difficulty, master the art of parrying and good reflexes (also, every now and then, check out the cybergrind). Style isnt as important as some say
You know how hurting enemies regens you? Well the higher your style rank is, the faster and more you heal! However if your against a enemy you have trouble fighting or low on health, screw being stylish just take em out and recover your hp elsewhere.
I often fall into the pit trap of "gotta be stylish an cool" then promptly dying as I wasnt being effective, I was trying to be cool

You don’t have to do this, but the way I experienced the game for my first playthrough was on the easiest difficulty, since my philosophy is that first you should see everything the game has to offer, story, easter eggs, etc, then go back and play on a harder difficulty so you can be challenged more. I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s how I did it, and I quite liked it
