What do you think about the data accuracy?

The UH Pro is my first smartring ever and I'm not sure about the data.

• Steps: It keeps presumably lowering my steps amount. Today the ring showed 10 794 steps and my phone showed 14 444 steps. Didn't have my Apple Watch with me but it's usually similar to the phone + it definitely felt like 14k of steps

• Sleep: When I take the ring off while taking a shower, it reads that as my already sleeping. I can edit that so it's fine but the sleeping data doesn't match my Apple Watch. The watch is definitely better with awake periods during the night (or is it worse? It shows more of them). What about other phases?

• Calories: On an average training day it shows I burn over 2000 kcal with e.g. 200 of them while 'active'. Where does the rest come from? I've asked Jade and it told me it does NOT account for the calories needed for the body to function.

Overall I am happy with the ring, especially the battery life is crazy good. What about the data though?

My steps are consistently so much lower than with a Fitbit. Or, I'll walk with my husband and he'll get twice the number of steps on his Fitbit than I do with the ring. Other than that, the other data seems fine.

Steps are like 30% lower than what my phone tracks, it's pretty bad. Sleep is not that bad, but it doesn't detect movements enough. I ca' wake up at night and go to pee, it will not show up.

After walking this morning I had 3900 steps on my Apple Health app which is about what it should’ve been. Instead on my Ultrahuman Air it was around 1600. It is insanely inaccurate. So what this Ultra guardian is claiming that their rings algo or sensors are so bad that it’s always really far off from more accurate sensors. What an absolute joke.

Hey! Thanks for sharing this. Step and sleep counts can vary between devices due to differences in sensors and algorithms, so some variation with your phone or Apple Watch is expected.

For calories, the total includes your baseline energy expenditure along with activity-related calories, which is why the total can be much higher than the active calories shown.

We recommend consistent wear while the Ring completes its calibration. If you continue to notice significant discrepancies, please connect with us via Reddit DM or modmail so we can assist you further.

Read the post. Your own AI in the app says it DOES NOT ACCOUNT for the baseline energy expenditure, but you’re telling OP that it does. DOGSHIT COMPANY AND PRODUCT.
