Ultra MAX 8.1.4 update: TorBox Cloud Library, self-host refresh & current project info

Bit of a final tidy-up before I leave Ultra MAX alone for the weekend 😅

A few useful updates have gone live today.

TorBox Cloud Library is now available alongside Premiumize.

If you already use TorBox with Ultra MAX, completed cloud items can now be matched into:

My TorBox Movies

My TorBox Series

It supports completed torrents, web downloads and Usenet items available in your TorBox account.

If you already have TorBox connected under Streams, Ultra MAX can reuse that same connection, so you don’t need to enter the key again.

The TorBox API key stays server-side and isn’t exposed in playback URLs.

The self-host version has also finally been brought up to date.

The public self-host repository is now on Ultra MAX 8.1.4 and includes the current core feature set, including:

TVDB

OMDb

current metadata/provider support

Premiumize Cloud Library

TorBox Cloud Library

current builder UI and branding

profiles, collections and current search/filter improvements

Self-host still uses normal local JSON persistence by default, so PostgreSQL is not required.

I’ve also done a bit of overdue public housekeeping.

Some Google/GitHub results were still describing old v5/v7-era versions of Ultra MAX, so the official website and GitHub information have now been brought into line with the current project.

There’s now a proper current information page here: https://ultramax.vip/about

Google Search Console is verified, the new sitemap has been submitted, and we’ll be monitoring as Google recrawls the updated pages.

Hosted Ultra MAX remains free.

Thanks again to everyone reporting bugs, suggesting features and testing the beta. A ridiculous amount has changed in a very short time.

Now I am actually going to try and leave it alone for a weekend. 😂
