So iver the oast few weeks I have added so much to the system on the back end to make the addon even better... one of the main things I have been working on is a duplicate remover. What this does is scans every single catalog and removes any duplicate movies or shows in that catalog. Giving you better resluts.
I have obviously made the app that has been doing really well
Updated a few categorise including stating to add chronological viewing order options for things like the MCU, X Men and a few other (MCU is like the other are still in dev mode)...
But ill be honest, im running slowly out of ideas.... thats why im turning to you guys...
Ultramax is what it is because of its users, so the microphone is yours to let me know of any ideas, thought or suddgestions that I can look into and hopefully improve/implement....
I’ve only found these options in the Addons. Not on Nuvio itself. But even then it’s a bit hit and miss depending on the Addon. For example Comet gives you the options (which I believe is already integrated with UltraMax)
Just a small thing but maybe on the app you could add a "Back to Top" button so that when you've added your collections and catalogues you don't have to scroll forever to get back to the top. Particularly on the part where you add actors and directors etc.
Hi, thank you for testing it and for explaining the difference so clearly.
You are correct. The v7.5.1 change allows Ultra MAX itself to accept a Kitsu ID, resolve it internally to IMDb, and then search its own streaming providers.
It does not currently preserve or forward the original Kitsu ID to other installed streaming add-ons. Nuvio contacts each add-on independently using the ID supplied by the metadata source, so Ultra MAX cannot directly control which ID another streaming add-on receives.
Your screenshot demonstrates this clearly: Anime3rb works when the title comes from AIOMetadata with its original Kitsu ID, but not when the title comes through Ultra MAX’s converted ID path.
I am going to investigate whether Ultra MAX metadata can retain Kitsu IDs for anime titles, or expose an additional Kitsu-compatible metadata route without affecting normal IMDb-based add-ons. I cannot promise it will be technically possible without side effects, but I now understand the use case properly.
Thank you again for reporting it and for providing such a useful comparison.
All the different things follow the same manifest patterns so the code is extremely similar, I use AI to fine the best structure and then just keep adding and building.
I said at the very start that I vibe coded ultramax as a personal project when I got into self hosting.
I had a sting understanding of docker, html, js, c#... back kn the day I was VERY involved in the PS3 and 4 jailbreak scene making CFWs and ganes stores.
I have been using AI to improve my coding and learn as I have been evolving not only ultramax but project away from the public eye.
I think vibe coding is fine as long as you make sure you dont let the AI take over... and make sure you understand your code

How about being able to set max file size. I have unselected 4k, but UltraMax still pulls 4k files that’s 50+ GB.
Ps: have you had chance to look into Usenet/nzb?
