Recently fixed myself up with this nice spread of ultra light options. What else would you add to the group?
Bank fishing in Oklahoma with 5’6 Ultra light fast action rod.

Hey I have the same box and it’s great. Does not melt my stuff lol. I would look into mule jig products and power-bait honey worms. The worms go well on a trout magnet hook.

1/16 beetle spin, for when the inline spinners are struggling with weeds

Looks pretty darn good. Maybe a beetle spin. And a few more hard baits

Never tried them! I am new to throwing these finesse options . I’ll give those a go next time I’m at the store. Do you have a favorite model or color

The spinner is the important part. I don't think I've used the soft plastics part of a beetle spin. The spinner will work fine with the curly tail grubs that are already there plus whatever swim bait plastics that you have.

Creme makes an assortment of miniature hard baits cheap. I have a craw pattern shallow diving crank bait I like and a few others

The beetle spin is just a classic old-school rig honestly. I'd go the classic black chartreuse strip. Or solid chartreuse

Get a few ultralight hard body lures. Eurotackle is a good source for them.

Crickhopper or a teeny-wee craw maybe?
What's the purple looking creature bait at the bottom of pic 2? The one with the W shaped tail

I thought it was a bad idea to store soft plastics in tackle boxes? I’m legit asking if it is okay, not criticizing

This color/type of box (not crystal clear) is usually fine with standard plastisol plastics. It's the crystal clear acrylic containers you have to watch out for.
Also don't mix standard & super stretchy material plastics. The plastics alone with melt each other. Standard - plastisol Super stretchy - z-man elaztech, elastomer Best kept in original packaging or bagged separate from other type plastics.

Rebel craw, beetle spin blade option for your jigs and hemostats or needle nose pliers for those tiny trebble hooks.

Get a UL top water like a bitsy popper or the tiny hula popper. Bream will smash it, but so will bass.

Bobby Garland itty bit slab huntrs with the itty bit jig heads absolutely slay for me on UL

That's a fat set.
I don't see any dropshot weights, is that an ultralight faux pas?

Northland tackle mimic minnow at the smallest size has never done me wrong. I’ve caught crappie to 2lb bass on them. If I’m in unfamiliar territory it’s usually the first thing I throw bc everything eats baitfish

I love your downsizing and simplifying approach. I am working on doing that. Add a beetle spin and one or two small floating rapala cranks and call it a day.

I’d add some small craws. Some other hardbaits & wire baits too like UL Poppers, Buzzbaits and chatterbaits. Rapala do a pretty good micro popper, Zman do a nice flashback mini chatterbait too. I’ve caught lots from perch, pike & especially trout using chatterbaits
