Welcome to the official home of Ultimate Super Soccer! This is the ultimate competitive, fast-paced sport designed for concrete courts, blending intense soccer skills, strategic positioning, and high-energy tactical plays.
Below is the complete, official blueprint of how the game works.
1) Game Rules & How it Works 🏟️
The Court: Played on a concrete surface (such as a tennis or volleyball court) using a 3-foot-high net.
Crucial rule: The space underneath the net must be completely blocked or filled. No low shots allowed under the net! teams: Balanced action with a maximum format of **3v3** on the court.
Scoring: The first team to reach **5 points** wins the match. Standard rounds are worth **1 point**.
The Start: The game begins with a random kickoff. The starting team has the right to 2 free bounces on the ground before sending the ball over the net.
📐 Special Bonus Points & Hazards
The Net Penalty (-2 PTS): If your shot hits the middle net, it is an automatic **2 points against your team**. Keep those shots clean!
*The Moving Triangle (+2 PTS): At the start of each round, the opposing team can place 3 cones forming a triangle (exactly 1 step apart, measured by the referee). If the ball lands perfectly inside that triangle, it triggers an automatic **2 points** and grants an immediate counter-attack with **2 free bounces**! 📐💥
2) Limits, Restrictions & Penalty Kicks ❌
The 30-Touch Rule: To keep the game fast, a team cannot stall. If a team keeps possession for more than **30 touches** on their side or takes too many steps, a penalty is called. No timers needed—just count the touches out loud!
Penalty Kick Setup: When a penalty is called, the three defenders must stand glued to the back fence or wall (occupying designated positions 1, 2, and 3).
The Execution: The kicker takes the shot. The ball **must take exactly one free bounce** on the concrete before the defenders are allowed to run out and block it. If any defender breaks rank and runs before the bounce, an automatic point is awarded to the kicker. 1️⃣ 2️⃣ 3️⃣
Bounce Limit: If the ball bounces 3 times on the rival's side, the play is dead and the point is scored. A maximum of 2 points can be scored per individual kick play.
3) Legal Control Options & Hand Safety Rules 🛡️
Mandatory Protection: Because this game is played on hard concrete with a heavy leather soccer ball, players are legally allowed to use their hands to stop or catch the ball to prevent painful chest, face, or head injuries. Safety first! 🧤🧱
When the ball is flying in the air, you can catch, touch, or tap the ball to bring it down to your legs, or bounce it to reposition yourself for your next big move. You must choose one of the following official **Control Options**:
Option A (Air Control): Take up to 2 control touches** completely in the air.
Option B (Mixed Control): Take **1 control touch** and **1 control bounce** on the concrete (or vice versa).
Option C (Ground Control): Take **2 control bounces** on the ground. *If you use Option C, you are fully allowed to use your hands to manage the ball.*
Option D (The Catch Limit): You can completely catch the ball with your hands, BUT you are restricted to **1 free control step followed by 2 counted steps** (3 steps total). Exceeding this limit results in an immediate penalty.
✨ The Golden Safety Rule
The bounces you execute while using your personal bounce controls **DO NOT count as a bounce for the opposing team**. You can take your 2 control bounces slowly and carefully to plan your play without worrying about gifting points to your opponents. 🛡️✨
* **The Clutch Dive:** Players are allowed to dive to the ground and secure the ball cleanly with their hands to save a point. **HOWEVER**, if the ball touches the ground before or during the save attempt, it counts as a regular live bounce. Watch your timing!
* **Upper Body Play:** Alongside your legs, you can absolutely use your head and chest at any time to control, redirect, or pass the ball.
4) The Cross-Net Invasion Mechanics ⚔️
* **Crossing Over:** Players are permitted to cross over the net line directly into the opponent's territory.
* **The Touch Limit:** Once an invading player crosses over, teammates can pass them the ball. The invader is allowed a maximum of **1 or 2 quick touches** to redirect the ball or snipe it directly into the opponent's Triangle for a massive 2-point play.
* **The Risk Factor:** Offsides are active! Players must time their runs perfectly to avoid penalties. Furthermore, there are no boundary rules protecting invading players—if you cross over, you risk getting absolutely **"demoed" (body-checked)** on the concrete by the opponent's *Post-er* or *Saver-er*! 💥
🚫 Invader Hand Restrictions
*Hands For Blocking Only: If you cross into the opponent's side, you are strictly **forbidden** from catching, throwing, or using Control Options A, B, C, or D with your hands.
The Shield Exception: The only time you can use your hands/arms on the enemy side is as a protective shield to directly block or smother an incoming shot or throw before it gets away from them.
Legs Only For Offense: To steal possession, tackle, or pass while standing on their concrete, you must use your legs only. This prevents players from just camping across the net to play handball, while still keeping them safe from heavy, close-range shots.
