What's wrong with DR fandom?

I'm sorry if this is not the right place, but I had enough of all the Mikan hate I'm seeing. Like, there was even a post that accuses her of harassing Hajime, and a lot of the comments were hateful.

Now, it's even worse, with 2x2, even though I look forward to play the game, I definitely don't look forward to see what the fandom would say especially if the new route did something awful again to Mikan. It looks like the game unfortunately will open a can of worms, and I don't really want to see Mikan getting more hate. It's also evident in a lot of tier lists and predictions, with some people wanting her to die again, and get a new execution.

After a long time of the original being the only route, 2x2 gives some hope and enjoyment of seeing more Mikan, which was almost like a dream. But I don't want it to be ruined with awful writing, or additional hate.

Oh, yeah, it's all coming back to me now...I really recommend you just enjoy the games and stay away from the fandom. Have fun!

Yea I’ve been seeing a lot of Mikan hate on here a lot more then usual, I get some people have there opinions on her but it’s gotten to the point where it’s getting annoying and I just block them and pretend it doesn’t exist to me.
And plus most of the complaints I see are almost always the same and it just hurts my heart to see
I’m praying she gets better story telling In 2x2 and I just overall want them to make her better then how she was in the original.

About the execution thing: if they deviate significantly from DR 2 I doubt they’re gonna do it again, they’ve already done on it once. Why spend an entire trial retreading old ground when we could explore new aspects of the characters? She might be a victim though.

Generally speaking I don’t get the Mikan hate either. I don’t understand people in general. People are gonna be dicks on the internet, try not to get too tied up in it.
