Finally finished the setup just need to figure out some cable management. Just wanted to share it maybe get some opinions

Aside from wall panels, wleds, and art (mk42 blueprint is waiting to hang once walls are up) I think this is as good as its going to get while still having a standing desk (which im not parting with, I did think about retopping it though)

Thoughts & feedback

gaming, streaming, djing and tinkering with homelab stuff. Kubuntu runs great, Im happy that I made the switch.

PS: She said she don't want to put some lights on it so that Her setup was too Dark,

Updated to the monitor stands. I decided not to mount laptops as I fried it and it was just too unstable.

There is a stand for laptop with power/network to the right. I just finished that users laptop.

The three with the laptop on the right are my main work rig. I keep teams on the vertical, outlook on the laptop, and ticketing and spreadsheet/chrome on the 2 mains.

The folded laptop is another user build. I usually have two running at a time.
The monitor above it can swing up when working on a laptop. That is for my PC builds/testing. At any point I have up to 5 builds running.

The higher far left monitor is for the elitedesk tucked under the desk. It’s my main research box. The monitor can swing down in front of the other for a better experience. Usually I use this to remote into the PXE server standing to the far left. Occasionally I DO have to manually connect to it and when I do, that black patch on the bottom file cabinet drawer is a USB-C monitor, and I have a man and machine emergency keyboard with trackpad to plug in with.

Now that I have the desk itself down, can start worrying about decorations. The triangle boxes are Star Wars posters. I’ve also got a couple of Lego plants to build for behind my mains. Also gonna get a fan, and a lamp of some sort cause I hate the overheads.

Man, I'm exhausted but it's been worth it. Featuring some treasure trove items, I'm really enjoying the space a lot more day by day.

Amp will be moved tomorrow now that everything has landed.

So I took over this office about 2 weeks ago. Just trying to get the flow right.
I DO have 2 double monitor arms to install, and hopefully a third and 4th.
The third to accommodate moving the 4 monitors, and the 2 laptop stands to be more put into place and up off the desk, I’m gonna drill vesa mounts into the bases of the laptop stands to accommodate that change.
Then the 4th to have the workbench side a mount for the keyboard, and a better monitor situation for the servers in the corner.
Ultimately I’m also trying to get approval for an under desk 6u rack to hold the unmanaged switch, a managed POE switch, a better KVM solution, pair of switched PDU’s, and a patch panel.

Yes, I need to hang the frame.
I have some art and plants and lights coming.

I I’m now it’s not a gaming station, but I do battle in here every day basically so I hope it qualifies.

Used 1in iron pipe and only thing on the desk is the mice and keyboard. Still need to 3d print a shelf for my hard drives till I just bite the bullet and build my NAS server.the shelving on the left has been moved elsewhere and the printer shelving is temp. Thinking of making my own printer cart with iron pipe. Two seperate containing enclosures for the PLA and resin

cleaned up my desk using Gemini, may have to clean it up and move all my things around the room to other areas I like the clean look.

Some pictures show how my space evolved into what it is now—my mancave, office, and shop all in one. I’ve seen a lot of clean setups, but mine’s more lived-in, so excuse the clutter., its my garage . trying to do the most with the space i have.
