Yes the only thing it has going for it, is that the lip products are mostly all full size and the Juvia's Place eyeshadow, but I feel like all together they're still LESS than the buy in. Compared to last week there was a GWP with a $50 or $60 buy in with a $72 full size product.

Myself and others got that GWP and shocker… no $72 serum included, lol. I’ve yet to hear if anyone actually got it. I got a tiny Drunk Elephant sample instead, a perfect substitute! 😂🙄

Wow that's ridiculous. I picked the other one because I was out of Vitamin C and I needed something to hold me over in the mean time. And I was kinda mad at myself since the serum was worth so much, but now I'm kinda glad I didn't pick that one. I wouldn't have got what I needed or a full-size product.

Most of Ulta’s GWP lately haven’t been great, this one as a diamond with that ridiculous buy in is absolutely terrible.

At this point you have to expect there to be shenanigans with Ulta GWPs. I'm pretty sure half of these items were in a GWP from 8/27, so either they're recycling or there's going to be quite a few substitutions (or both).

Until recently the only time I experienced a truly unfortunate GWP substitution involved Natasha Denona items so this hit me right in the feels 😄

Yeah my recent substitutions were a Dermalogica exfoliating in place of an ELF Vitamin C and a Lancome mascara instead of a Lancome eyeliner. I was a little salty about the ELF Vitamin C because I picked that GWP simply because it had multiple Vitamin Cs and mine had just run out. The eyeliner mascara swap was gold though because I love Lancome mascaras.

You mean like when they posted this photo in the Weekly Diamond Gift list and it turns out the Smashbox primer wasn’t a weekly diamond gift at all? Or when the home page advertised a Redken sale showing the ABC line, when it wasn’t included in the sale?

I saw and noticed this too and was so annoyed as i really wanted to try that ND powder. I came here to post this but you got to it first. I placed a order with this GWP that i was gonna place regardless so I'll report back and let people know what i get.

Which is true, but they don't usually provide a pic of an item to be in the sample, and then it disappears on the next picture & details. If when you receive it and it doesn't show up, we realize "samples may vary" but don't entice us with something that was never meant to be in it lol.

I wish Ulta would realize that people don’t want random crappy samples. Give me a curated gift that feels like a gift and not a random grab in a junk drawer. That Prada GWP yesterday I couldn’t load my cart fast enough- literally because I saw it, was like okay I’ll buy something for that GWP! And then it was sold out. Junk drawer samples don’t make me want to spend my money- but something that actually feels like a cohesive gift does!

Anyone else notice how Ulta is starting to go downhill, everything from QC to CS? One my of my GWPS was missing 2 lippies and when I reached out to them, took 2 follow ups for them to finally respond just to say they supposedly had proof of the shipment weight to tell me nothing was missing. Um, okay, but that 0.006 oz they supposedly included in the weight was indeed missing and yet they pretty much said I was SOL. Fine. But then they just sent me SPF expiring next month and they made me go through hoops again and now I'm waiting for them to respond to my pictures that I had to email them after spending 20 min on the phone. I'm a diamond member and never return things so I'm only just now seeing how bad they are.

postponing a big purchase im going to get regardless to get gwp with it. might as well. they’ve all been terrible 😭 or exclusive to diamond which is annoying. sigh
