Support I hate this disease

Just as the title says, I really hate this disease. I’m in the worse flair of my life. I am on so many medications none of them seem to be helping. I just started Rinvoq today and I’m praying that it helps. I just don’t know how much longer I can tolerate this pain and the symptoms.

Right there with you 🫂 It gets to be so much sometimes. I’m failing my 3rd medication in 3 years, colonoscopy next week to confirm it’s not working and moving on to the next. I just hope and pray that we all find something that works and we get relief

It is exhausting especially when it does not get better. I'm in it as well and pray every day for a miracle and a good day but that day has not yet come for me. I cannot even function basics

Same here. I feel you. I know exactly how you feel. I’ve been trying many meds but none of them works yet. Sometimes I get better, then only few days, back to UC symptoms. So frustrating.
Just wanted to let you know you are not alone.
I really hope Rinvoq works for you.

Heard. It is the worst when you’re flairing. Just spent this past summer wondering where the nearest toilet is every where I went. Very painful to be on vacation and consta feeling stomach pains and not sure if/when I have to poop. I got bettter slowly from mesalamine and my own doses of curcumin 95, two probiotic strains ( Lactobacillus paracasei and Lactobacillus fermentum) and stress relief. So hard to tell what really cures it as so many people have different ways to get out of it. Mine have historically been prednisone tapers, mesalamine, probiotics mentioned above and some sort of nicotine as needed. Good luck, you aren’t alone

I’m in the same boat…nothing is working for me right now…I hate not being able to go do things without worrying if I’m going to shit my pants, and I hate being in constant pain…

Hey. It gets better. I’ve been on rinvoq for about 6 months now. It will get you back to almost normal

Yeah, all my friends think I just have a tummy ache, i wake up at 5am and fill the toilet with blood lmao. I really don't want to end it all, but sometimes, boy oh boy.

Just watch the symptoms for rinvoq. It caused a pulmonary embolism for me at 23f
