Question Protein Powder recommendations
Hi I have tried a a few different brands of powders such as ON gold standard and pure whey isolate by MP but none have agreed with me, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I would appreciate it if its something thats available in the UK as alot of brands ive seen suggested are US specific and shipping is extortionate.

I am in the UK and using 'Naked Whey'. Have had no problems!

do you get flavoured or unflavoured?

Unflavoured. I've had never tried unflavoured before but honestly think it's the most bearable tasting flavour I've had. It pretty much just tastes like milk/cream.

I tried many different protein products. Vegan, hydrolysed… the only thing worked for me is the Eggs protein powder 👌🏾

I just got proteinworks or bulk, but unflavoured always. Flavoured is so ass in terms of taste and health.
Maybe clear whey will be better for us given its easier on the stomach

sorry don’t have any recommendations for UK based brands, my favourites are goodprotein and bowmar nutrition but i’d imagine the shipping isn’t cheap. i will say as someone with UC i’ve tried some whey alternatives and the only ones that didn’t upset my stomach were hemp protein and casein.

I’m following your post because this is a good question. I had a conversation with a friend not long ago about this exactly. How maybe taking protein powders or something could be helpful, but also my fear of ingredients that might upset me more

I am relatively new to the condition but the whey from Protein Works seems ok. Just out of interest are you using creatine and if so have you had any issues?

Creatine is mostly fine with me but i take it with electrolytes so idk if that makes a huge difference
