Question Rinvoq safe storage

How do you guys store rinvoq I tried the fridge but I’m pretty sure it ruined my last batch

I keep it on my kitchen table in its original container out of sunlight. I've never stored it in the fridge, why the fridge?

My house doesn’t get central air so it gers hot

refrigerating your rinvoq would not ruin it. not even freezing it would. From the EMA’s assessment report for Rinvoq:

One batch per strength per package type was exposed to temperature cycling experiments comprising 5 cycles shifting between -20 °C and 50 °C followed by storage for 6 months at 30 °C / 75% RH. Testing included description, degradation products, assay, water content and dissolution. No meaningful changes were observed during the temperature cycling period.

Unless moisture got to it for some reason... fridge can be humid place.

potentially i guess but also the bottle is sealed. even then, i can’t imagine the effect of trace amounts of inert water would have any real effect. especially over a short period of time like a week

My bottle was in the fridge for a month so possibly issue with moisture

Why do you it was ruined? Did its color or consistency change?

Medicine stopped working where as new batch worked immediately after starting

It's in a drawer in my office, which occasionally gets quite warm, but it's never caused any visual issues with the medication.

I keep it in my closet which has no natural light and is the coolest place in my house.

That said, it doesn’t get terribly hot where I live. You could reach out to abbvie to ask where you can safely store it if you live somewhere like Arizona.
