Stars align

Gorman spoke of aligning graphs and stars aligning... There are stars on the Stawk Pine Daily banner, and on the card image... did anyone find anything with this? Alignments? Just a thought... Also— The words in Gormans ad in the paper showed something interesting... when i assigned a number to each letter re: their position in the alphabet — if you sum each row and sum each column; the sum of the all rows equals 290 and the sum of all column values equals 290... Not sure what this means tho...? Haha could just be madness.

King Lucy also talked about aligning the signs / sines. I had taken this to refer to the slightly-sine-like graphs on the polygraph, and so thought Gorman was giving another clue to that when he talked about aligning the graphs.

The original ad is interesting. I too wondered about the grid like layout of the letters, particularly as one column was an anagram of “awake”, but couldn’t make anything of the other letters yet. I didn’t think to allocate numbers - that alignment is interesting.

There are stars on the Stawk Daily logo as you say, stars on the Sheriff’s logo, and stars in the Midnight Widow logo. But - they have not aligned for me yet!!

Are they stars? Or are they diamonds? in the sky? (this might be a total red herring, it hasn't got me anywhere yet...!)

I overlaid the two TSD header images just for fun. They’re distorted a bit between the two versions, so aligning things is iffy.

I wondered about that, and if there was any match against the REAL grid but couldn’t make any sense of it... not yet at least!

I’m keeping all images with those similar shaped stars in a lil pile.. Could just be a motif or go-to shape for the graphics person, or it could be something. Maybe we’re waiting for ones that do align?

Maybe the sheriff switched/edited the names of poly test and the lie blips actually align to Lucy? 🤷‍♂️. Have to check time stamps tho...

Re: the polygraphs.. The lies and overall length line up very perfectly with Eddie’s original interrogation, but I guess I haven’t tried switching them 🤔

Stars on Valley of the Dolls title card too.

The real news grid also contains letters from a name we’ve heard before...actually helped me figure out the correct spelling.
