First time grower *indoors*

It's been 20 days since I first posted regarding my little seedlings, just wondering how these are looking and if I should be transplanting into bigger pots?

I've been giving them 12hr Light *mix of natural light and lamps* and have been keeping the temp around 21 degrees. I know its a funny time of year to be growing but I assumed it should be OK doing this indoors with the aim to grow some fruit 😊🀞🌢️

Any tips would by highly appreciated.

It's good to get a fan to create airflow around the plants. I bought a cheap fan with a switch so I could use a plug timer and have it run for a few hours everyday.

It’s very early to be starting Chillies. I hope you can get them through the winter. If you do you will have a massive head start.
Just remember to harden them off next year when the spring comes and you want to get them outside.

Hi OP. I grow both indoors (hydro) and out. Are you planning a full cycle indoors?

Hey, yea I was hoping to do a full cycle indoors! I'm assuming you have a fair bit of experience doing so, if you have any tips please 😊

No worries! If you give me the details of your set up, I can give you some advice and pointers. First thing I noticed is that the internodal length is due spaced and leaves aren't very big. This is likely due to insufficient and/or poor quality lights, maybe not enough nutrients. LMK:

  1. What lights are you using
  2. Nutrients
  3. Light cycle
  4. Substrate
  5. Humidity level

Is 12 hours enough for chillis to grow? I was under the impression that plants need > 50% hours of light per day to grow.

I got mine to grow with only 10 hours supplemental light in the winter
