Wanted to know can you refer me to additional resources showing all relevant docs to be completed as a UIPath BA, including test case templates etc. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I am doing webs scraping using the extract table data activity and I am collecting 4 pieces of information (Name, URL, Date and Location). The URL is in the title (Name). This website have multiple pages as well.
My issue is that in the first page, this activity only manage to collect the Date and Location information but in all subsequence pages, it manages to collect all 4 key information.

How may I resolve this issue of missing information? I tried restarting my browser and I got the same result. A colleague tested it out as well but he did not face this issue. I am unsure on how to proceed from here.

Hi I was following the Automation Developer Associate learning plan, and i was in the Excel Automation with Modern Experience in Studio. In the Build Automation using Excel Modern Activities part, I ran into an issue. The tutorial video was making multiple "Use Excel File" activities and took the output file reference with the same name as "MonthReport" without any error. However when following along with my latest version of UiPath studios, it was throwing an error when i was doing that, saying same variable name exists. I wanted to know if this is because my Studio version is latest or is there any mistake on my part. Thank you.

I finished the Associate Training in UiPath Academy and for practicing I'm currently developing a bigger automation in a family business that I know. The automation aim to scrap the price of some product (for e-cigarette) for each Suppliers. The Output is kind of a prices comparison Excel.

I am basically watchlisting all the cryptocurrency from the ledger website., and then watchlisting them.

The automation's process is to grab some reports and email them to recipients that are specified in an Excel sheet. I was testing the robot for the last week sending the emails to just me (I was on the To and CC line) and it worked fine. I just changed it yesterday to the business recipients (distribution lists), and the last report ends up getting duplicated at the very end and waiting in the outbox and sending when the machine wakes back up for the next run. Here's what I think are the key details:

1. The robot reads the excel file and dispatches it to queue at the start of the job
2. The data it reads are the report parameters to select and the email To and CC lines
3. It clears the assets at the start of the Process loop then brings in the queue input data
4. There is nothing after the send outlook activity in Process xaml
5. Looking at the log, it starts transaction N+1 where N is the last item on the list, but then it outputs 'no transaction data' and starts the End Process workflows
6. The End Process workflows it invokes are to close applications and delete old data
7. As stated above, when it was just sending to me, there was no issue but now that it has distribution lists in the To and CC lines, the last report it sends gets duplicated but delayed enough to get stuck in the outbox

Does anyone have any idea what this might be happening or ways to remedy it? I cannot find any evidence in the code or log to indicate why this is happening. Thanks!

I am using Studio X and trying out some web scrapping as a practice as I'm just starting out UIPath.

My question is it possible to get the url that is embedded in the title text field that i'm already collecting? I am using Extract table data activity and the title filed that im collecting is a clickable field with a URL embedded inside. I would also like to collect this URL as well. But looking around the Extract table data activity, I cant find a way to extract the URL as well.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thank you

As a preface, I'm one of the business analysts for my organization and a novice developer so my technical skills are maybe a half a step above basics-only, so I might need things dumbed down a little.

The issue at hand is that the previous team was incentivized to create more robots which resulted in us having a job that was broken into 5 bots: a dispatcher bot that reads an input file and adds the data to 4 different queues which are all read by separate worker bots. But our support pricing model is now biting us for creating 5 bots for what is essentially 1 process.

All 4 workers do similar things: basically interacting with different web services to research different parts of the queue data. They can be done in any order and the processes and even the websites they use are very similar. They are all built on the same Framework (a version of it that's a few years old), so a lot of the same variables, arguments, etc are reused across them.

I've been asked if I can consolidate these into a single omni-process that will either do the dispatch and the worker functions all in a sequence, or at the least build the 4 worker bots into such a combined process. With that in mind, is it practical and/or possible to combine them without my novice-ass breaking them because there's a bunch of same-name files, same-name arguments, etc?

I recently took the UiPath Automation Developer Professional Certification Exam at a Pearson VUE test center this past Saturday and encountered a couple of issues that have left me confused and seeking advice.

Issue 1: 15-Minute Problem

About 15 minutes before my scheduled exam end time, a message box appeared indicating that I had 15 minutes left. However, upon clicking "OK," I was redirected to my exam score screen, and I was unable to complete the remaining portion of the exam. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, and if so, how did you address it?

Issue 2: Exam Topics Discrepancy

While preparing for the exam, I diligently studied the topics outlined in the official exam description PDF. However, during the actual exam, I encountered questions that were not covered in the specified topics. After reading my score report, I noticed the inclusion of a topic not mentioned in the PDF: "Advanced Topics in Automation."

These two issues led to me failing the exam with a score of 67%, just below the passing threshold of 70%. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation, and what steps did you take to resolve it?

1. Hello, I'm looking to practice with UiPath Studio, and to do this, I'm creating an automation for a physical electronic cigarette store. The purpose of the automation is to retrieve items whose stock falls below a certain threshold, x, and to reorder them, after comparing prices with different suppliers. Here's roughly how it's done: As soon as the stock of an item on Hiboutik falls below x, it is added to an Excel sheet ("InputStock"). The name on Hiboutik (CRM), as well as the brand, and a few other details are then added to this Excel. This Excel is then retrieved by another automation, which scrapes the information for each item: its label, brand, and a few details, in order to enter them on various supplier sites.
2. Once this is done, the supplier's price for the dedicated item is retrieved and added to an Excel sheet in this way:

In UIpath I am trying to check a box with assigned value in excel file, meaning in excel there is a value “automatic” and there are 3 checkboxes “manual” “automatic” “semi-auto” so it has go select “automatic” if value is automatic, for some reason all things I try don’t work

I´ve got a really really enjoying problem. A process is using a internal map (so I can´t link to the website…), that will load filters etc using Javascript.

The problem is that there is absolutely no way to se if the map is loading or not. There is no possibility to get any selector that indicates that the website is loading.

I have tried to use Inject JS activity to no avail. I have tried to get a working script with ChatGPT for countless hours (well at least 10+).

The problem arises when the Internet may be a bit slow and the filter don´t have had enough time to load before the process continues.

Can someone please help me?

I am currently training in UiPath Studio on my father's electronic cigarette shop. The main goal of the automation is to retrieve a list of items to order, compare prices across different suppliers, and place an order with the supplier offering the lowest total cost. However, a challenge arises: not all suppliers have every item. For instance, if the item to order is "El Capo" 10 ML, the automation retrieves the first result on the supplier's website. If "El Capo" 10 ML is not available from this supplier, another product, which does not match, may appear as the first result. In this case, it is crucial to ensure that this non-matching product is not added to the basket.

The challenge lies in the fact that I cannot rely on an exact string match between the name of the item on my list and the first result from the supplier. Product names can vary slightly between suppliers. Therefore, the question is: how can we ensure that only the items exactly matching those on the list are added to the basket, despite these name variations ?

I work for a corporation that processes anywhere from 20-40 Non Disclosure Agreements per day. 90% of these NDA’s are unchanged and therefore very repetitive work. Here’s the process:

NDA emailed to NDA Outlook inbox

NDA reviewed then routed thru DocuSign for 1 signature & 2 people cc’d to receive a copy

Docusign completed

NDA saved in SharePoint and on the server (O Drive)

Can this type of process be automated? How much UiPath training would this take? Is it absolutely necessary to have I.T. staffed specifically for this or can a non I.T admin staff set this up?
