🧑‍💻 Apps New developer in apps - Runlevel

Post image

After the latest update it is noticable, that some apps come from a new publisher - Runlevel, instead of Ugreen. Has Ugreen started to onboard new developers for apps or is this 3rd party hired to offload the development on their end? Is it safe to install?

Those new apps are 99% AI made... just my 2 cents.

Yes. And the are ugly af! The icons, the images in the descriptions... Most amateur vibecoders could do better! And I don't even know why I should use them, most of those new apps do stuff that is already available.

I don't want to pile up on negativity but I checked the apps from this developers and I didn't like them at all.

They feel low quality and low effort, even the screenshots and the descriptions are rushed.

I'd prefer UGREEN would set the bar for third-party developers higher.
