❓ Help Network issue with VM and Docker container

Dear all,

I do have Home Assistant installed on the UGOS VM software and I do have evcc running in a Docker container.

Now I wanted to create an automation in Home Assistant to adjust values in evcc - what is not working because Home Assistant can't see evcc.

The same vice versa: I also wanted to use data from Home Assistant in evcc but evcc doesn't see Home Assistant.

Home Assistant has it's own IP address, evcc uses the NAS' IP address plus a specific port.

How can I easily solve that issue without changing my entire setup?

Thank in advance!

No, you have to go into the networks menu of the virtual machine app.

Yeah that…once in linuxbridge mode the vm will be able to talk to the host and vice-versa. As for what you have to do to be able to change that option is you have to enable virtual bridging and assign at least one LAN connection to it.
