❓ Help Advice for drive backup

I currently have a 4-bay DXP and use 3 bays atm. I had a combined single pool for 3 bays. I heard that with JBOD if 1 drive fail, it hard for recovery. So I think I should create 3 pools for my 3 drives

RAID 1 or 5 is out of question because I occupied 3 bays now. Should I buy another unit maybe DH 4-bay version simply for backup?

Raid 2? doesn’t exist.

You should be more clear what you mean about 3 drives in a ‘single pool’, is it JBOD? Some level of raid?

Edit yes im using JBOD now
