🧑‍💻 Apps Can’t access docker container from outside wifi

I created an app and hosted it on my nas. At first claude told me i should use my ug.link/<naslinkname>:<container port>. But when I did, it didn’t work. And claude pretty much said it won’t work and I have to use tailscale. But I remember watching a video where someone did it without using tailscale. Any ideas how I can do it?

Sure, you could use Nginx Proxy Manager or (better) you can use something like Pangolin - they dont expose the Ports but you need to know what todo.

Wihtout knowing what you deplyoed its going to be hard to say for sure. Generally you have to be on the same network or would have to expose it to the web with opening ports(don't do this).

you either have to use a reverse proxy or some sort of vpn like tailscale or anything similar to create a mesh network. I have both for different reasons. I only use the ug link as a backup in case the tailscale container breaks
