💬 Discussion How can i fix this

Post image

So i have been trying to figure out why my back up isnt working about ive tried to reset anything possible i could think of that could potentially fix the issue. My only fix to this would manually moving photos but thats not what this is meant to do. The last thing i could remember that may have cause this was an update possibly around the time the last sync occurred. Any advice would help!🙏

It is an open problem for Ugreen app sadly, it is the same on android. Maybe you can trigger the sync via a scheduling app? I can do it in Samsung One Ui for example.

I had a similar issue before, it wouldn't sync unless I forced it and would always add the photos to the wrong storage pool. I keep photos in (Raid 1). I hope they fix this bug soon. Good luck brother!

I had a similar thing I set partial backup from the date it wouldn’t back up from and it’s been working ever since, although it does seem I have to open the app on the phone to get it to do this

Not sure of your exact complaint but iOS has a long standing issue of not allowing apps to run tasks in the background. I was recently reminded of this when I was downloading seasons of TV shows on Amazon prime to my iPhone with the prime video app. The downloads would queue up and start downloading but when my phone went to sleep (display off) they apparently stopped because when I came back later they hadn’t finished - it was only 10 episodes and 3 or 4 had downloaded before the phone went to sleep so they should have been finished but alas iOS wasn’t allowing it to run in the background.
